One thing though, it wasn't just a little bit of blood he needed from Bobby. Patricide means actually killing your father. Balthazar just meant that it could be a father figure, he didn't have to be blood related. Also, even though Sam didn't want his soul back because he was scared of what would happen to him, after seeing what he was willing to do to get his own way I think we can agree that he NEEDED his soul, just like Dean said.

I love Supernatural's version of death. He's just so interesting and Julian plays him so brilliantly. He's also the nicest and most humble guy in real life, such a sweetheart! :)

what supernatural gets right about death is his disregard for anything, hes so old and powerful that to him humanity are just a short break from being bored, as my cousin would put it "hes got the biggest dick in the room and everyone knows it, there just to scared to ask him to prove it"

I really liked this episode as well. I adore Death n the actor Julian who plays him is perfection. I thought of you for this episode showing once you realized Souless Sam needed to kill Bobby. Not surprising that Sam Without Soul comes to conclusion to find way to stop it from being retrieved after both Cas n Crowley said it was too dangerous to reintroduce. I thought idea of Dean seeing the Chain events that occur from skirting the natural order was interesting one. Also that Death wanted the boys on chess board. Great reaction and always insightful questions

I love this episode! I love the Bobby and Sam scenes tbh. The Dean scenes were sad too, but for some reason I've always enjoyed the stuff going on with Sam and Bobby!

This is actually one of my favorite episodes. Even though a lot of people say that season 6 is the worst, its not that bad my opinion. It has some really good episodes. Especially the last few.

RJ Hopper French Mistake is still one of my all time favorites. Writing n concept just so brilliant along w the acting the boys do. I have the original script to it signed from Jared I won. Had my choice at time. I’ll leave it at that to avoid any spoilers

I love love love the themes of fate and free will in this show :D And I love death (things supernatural made me say) and yes his relationship with Dean. Death was teaching Dean about the cosmic order and all that but at the end Death himself violates it to return Sam his soul, and that's awesome :D

Yeah, I mean after Kripke's 5 season plan came together this season was always going to be facing an uphill battle. I've said before I, personally, don't think it's ever gotten better than season 4 & 5 but there's been great seasons & season 6 has great episodes. This was one & I think I told you during the bloopers or the first episode of the season but episode 15 of this season is awesome, again it can be a matter of opinion, so I'm eager to see yours! Thanks for the Monday rescue, it's lunchtime over here & I've enjoyed this break from work.
