Interesting tidbit, Jensen told everyone at a convention how surprised he was to find Paris Hilton so professional during filming. The in joke was of course, that Jared was in the remake of House of Wax with Paris Hilton.

The cast of the OC said the same thing. That and they were suprised by how smart she was. She plays dumb but overall she's a pretty cool chick. She's actually been in court for about a year fighting against abuse in private schools because she endured that as a kid. I really like her.

Jared and Paris Hilton were actually in a movie together, hence why she visited him to do this guest appearance. The movie was "House of Wax" Also, if you want to ever check out their other horror movies, Jensen did "My Bloody Valentine" and Jared did "Friday the 13th". I remember it was a big deal because they both released in theaters in the same week, so it was kind of like competition between the 2 franchises and the both brothers lol.

Yes. This was like free promo of her and Jared's remake movie together. They have no problem being extra and meta in this show. Tongue in cheek is like their best stuff. They can go ham with it. You'll notice more actors from the sci-fi world that shows up on this show, thanks to Ben Edlund.....a Whedonverse alumni writer and producer. Especially alumni actors. Some or the styling of the show became more dialogue intelligent and rich with themes that are Whedonverse staple styles of writing.

It was the real Paris Hilton; she probably agreed to do it since Jared and her were both in the remake of House of Wax & the behind-the-scenes for House of Wax shows them getting along. Paris was throwing serious punches during the fight scene tho~ lol She apparently even clipped Jensen's stunt guy, who promptly wished Jensen good luck when he stepped in for his turn. But Jensen (nor Jared) had anything bad to say about her~~~

Idk why, but Abe Lincoln is just about the only thing I remember from this episode. So, when I saw the opening scene, I asked myself, "Is this the Abe Lincoln episode?" Lol.

Sam did make mistakes. But I can’t see the demon blood as the problem, it was Ruby. I also hate that people blame Sam like he wanted to trip the apocalypse. He was killing a demon. How was he supposed to know that was suddenly a bad thing.

Lincoln may not have died in the Whitehouse but they did keep his corpse in their for days before they inurned him. Also Jared did a shitty movie called House of Wax with her the year before so they were friendly.
