I dropped out of Supernatural early into season 11 but this video has single handedly made me want to start watching the show again. Sabriel was one of my all time favorite pairings, I loved Gabriel and all works about him gave me so much joy and this video gave me so much nostalgia for the days I used to refresh the Sabriel ao3 page constantly.

The love for sabriel never left me. It's my favourite, if anything the love for destiel left me. I still ship it but I rarely engage in it unless they're a secondary pairing to sabriel or unless I'm watching the show. I kind of got fed up with how it is on the show, whereas sabriel having less show time means I haven't and I still love it with all my heart (sam is my fav Winchester and gabe is my fav angel too). I'm very much looking forward to all the sabriel moments in season 13!!

I haven't watched Supernatural since like season 11,, but after the announcement of the end of the show, I've started to rewatch it. Sabriel and Destiel was and still is my shit. Gabriel was always one of my favorite angels outside of Cas of course. I'm only on rewatching season 8 so I cant wait to meet Jack. I heard he is baby

So, i had a falling out with supernatural, cause i've grown tired/annoyed by a overzelous part of the fandom, the enormous quantity of destiel fics (and no kinkshame but also the freakyness of many of those fics), some member of the cast/crew and the show itself, so i didn't bother to keep up, but i remember liking sabriel a lot, maybe cause it was a more tame, less-popular ship, whit less angsty content than destiel and more fluff; so this is nice. The "unhealthy due to torture" thing does make me a bit uneasy, but even before i stopped watching the show i usually dwelt in au territory, so it's not a problem for me; i don't care much that the show is ending, i took what i wanted from it and left it at that.

OH BOY, SABRIEL! I stopped watching after season 9 finished airing but damn did I just LOVE Sabriel back when I was in the fandom. Gabriel was my favorite character and I've been tempted to keep watching it ever since his return in season 13, but I'm a lazy dude and the amount of episodes in between kept me from doing so. Still, seeing this video in my feed made me smile, I have fond memories of the ship. You almost made me think something huge happened with them in the current season and that's why you made a video XD Now I'm in the mood to look at some good fanart of them.

I used to be in the SPN fandom. I never wrote fic for it but I consumed it often. My favorite pairing was Sabriel becuase Gabe was my favorite character. I haven't been in the SPON fandom in a while. The show has been going on for so long that I got burnt out after a while and stopped watching around season 11. I do intend to pick up again and watch the whole show in one massive marathon, but other than that, I haven't been participating. However, I stillr eally like Sabriel and I'm glad that it has occationally floated across my tumblr dash again.

Sabriel first started for me way back when they first started interacting they seemed to be so soft to each other like a draw to one another. Maybe it was just because I already shipped dean and cas. It never really died but it certainly flared up when gabriel came back. I doubt I'll stop shipping but I stopped watching the show in October of 2018 and I doubt i will go back. I have stuck around in the fandom on tumblr and see GIFs and art at times tho

Sam to me always had a fascination with Gabriel (since Loki) and vice versa. He was the only one to persuade the Archangel to do what he absolutely wouldn’t otherwise. And I like that they had so many parallels and shared background of being used in ways that they were by their captors and having to heal and reinvent themselves from that. I don’t see any torture implications between them. Not that they aren’t there, but I don’t see them like that.

And i like destel but sometimes got annoyed when so many fics in sabriel tag were more destiel than anything. Living for the resurgence :D

Man, I have been out of this fandom for so long, I hardly remember where I stopped watching. This was a real nostalgia trip. I have read a few Sabriel fics I thought were cute, though. But Supernatural was one of those fandoms where I just shipped everything. Usually I pick a couple particular favourites, but I enjoyed a lot of everything. Little Destiel here, little Wincest there, some genderbend stuff for my femmeslash needs, even some occasional hetero stuff. I would say Destiel was the most prominent, simply because the chemistry on screen was ridiculous. Alas, what could have been, if we'd had actors that weren't weird about the idea (Jensen, not Misha, Misha would have been down for it I'm pretty sure), and if the fandom hadn't been pushy and creepy about it and the writers and producers weren't cowards. Hey, did anyone ever get confirmation on whether that rumour that Castiel's part came across as romantic because originally Anna was meant to be Dean's companion angel and then Cas was so popular that they changed it, was true? I always thought that made a lot of sense.

I stopped watching due to how tired and repetitive the plot got (one brother gets hurt bad, other brother does something stupid to save them, he gets hurt bad, other brother does something stupid to save them, he gets hurt bad, repeat ad nauseam), but I did always enjoy Gabriel/Loki. I might need to consider watching these newer episodes :)
