Which makes an episode in Sl5 confusing. Sam & Cas were never as close to Garth, like Dean was. IMO it's the stupidest episode of the whole series.

I thought this was such a well-written episode, with the Soundgarden song playing over the montage of the penny being passed from person to person, plus the Garth/Bobby thing AND Sam and Dean’s forced verbal confrontation. I don’t think they’d have done that if not for the aggro unleashed in Dean.

Amy Pond was a 2 minute friend, 20 years ago..Benny is daily friend, for months.. like yesterday.. there is a difference. I do love Garth in an episode. Good hat in this one. I really love his hunter origin story too.. tooth fairy.. lol Apparently, fandom wasn't happy about that whole "new Bobby" thing. They kind of shunned DJ for a while.. instead of the writers.. shm Shameful moments. Big loose end in this one.. what happened to the guy that needed his inhaler?

I've got a feeling Sam is definitely not going to let the Benny situation go, I hope he does. Or Benny does something to win over Sam, that would be good. Poor Garth, Dean was super mean to him in this episode. Seriously a Dentist, I want to know more about the tooth fairy situation, they should of done a flash back lol.

Dean came around at the end about Garth. Remember Dean is still suffering from PTSD when he had to live on the edge for a year. His emotions are all over the place and bubbling over his control. I felt bad for the mother and son. They were coerced to kill by a vengeful spirit. Their lives are over. Garth is such a gem. He needs to be protected at all times!

I don't like Sam's attitude about Benny. There's a big difference between him and Amy. Amy WAS KILLING HUMANS! Benny hasn't killed anyone. He also saved Dean and Cas in Purgatory. And Sam, remember Lenore and her nest in S2? And Kate the werewolf? You were sympathetic to them! Asshole. And he only gets worse in his treatment of Benny.

Agree, and Sam has always been very much innocent till they kill. I do understand that he is bitter over Amy but she was killing so until Benny does the same he is and should be safe.
