i was at the first con (didn't get to go to the gold panel) but i had an autograph with jensen. i told him how meeting him was the motivation i needed to conquer my agoraphobia and that going to the NC Con was the farthest i had travelled in 17 years. he told me how great i was doing and i got emotional and started to tear up. he put up his hand like he wanted to high five me and grabbed my hand and held onto it instead. he asked me where i was from and i said "columbia". he then told me it was a beautiful world out there and smiled. later when i watched the gold panel it made me smile to see this connection.

@I phinney Did you have to tell him what agoraphobia was or did he know? I would always assume that nobody knew what it was so normally I just don‘t tell anyone. But your story is similar to mine because I haven‘t been travelling for quite some years now too and in April I went to panic at the disco in another city because Brendon Urie was my motivation. It was only two days but it was a start for me... Sadly now it‘s summer break and all of my friends are on holiday again and I just laid in bed all day watching some J2 but then I stumbled across your comment and it showed me that I‘m not alone. It‘s still hard and I got very emotional over your comment but yeah idk I guess you just keep trying ..🥰

@@xOnlymeMonax it seemed like he knew. They had mentioned at another panel YEARS ago that someone with agoraphobia had made it to a convention so I think they know what it is. Here's my whole autograph story : ) i had written down what i wanted to say and memorized it because i knew once i looked at him and Jared I was going to go blank lol. so i walked up to the table and after he signed what i brought he looked up at me and I started my speech. "Hi Jensen. I have agoraphobia and..." and his jaw dropped and he said "You're doing a great job!" And I of course was taken aback for a second and then I said, "Thank you. Meeting you was the motivation I needed to get professional help and kick it in the ass. So thanks to you I travelled farther today than I have in 17 years." At this point I was getting choked up so I kinda waved my hands at my eyes like you do when you're trying not to cry and he put his hand up like he wanted to give me a high five. I went to give him the high five and he held my hand instead. And the rest is up with my original comment. When I went to Jared's table he signed what I brought and looked up at me and i said, "Hi Jared. I have agoraphobia and meeting you was the motivation I needed to get professional help and kick it in the ass." He said, "Hell yeah." And put his hand up for a high five. I gave him one and then continued on. "So thanks to you I travelled farther today than I have in 17 years. Thank you." And he got that big smile on his face that he gets and gave me a fist bump. I kept saying thank you as I walked away and he was just smiling. I'm so proud of you for going to see Panic. It is very hard. After I made it to the convention my husband and I went to the beach for the first time in 17 years. It took a lot of Xanax, but I made it lol. Keep going, you got this! AKF and YANA
