Supernote A6X Review Is It A Good E-Reader?

I am loving my A6x for reading. I've read a lot of fitness & welness books to summarize them for my clients. The possibility to mark the text and export the summary has massively sped up this proces. Amazing tool.

Hope you enjoy it. 1# is the font is set as a default for all books so we don't have to do it with each epub. 2#When exporting epub book to desktop does it have all annonations and notes embedded within epub file? Thank you in advance.

Ya they will be adding Kindle by end of Sept they say. That should make the device absolutely unique. The form factor is really awesome.

So far the ax6 is top of the list for a personal note taker/ereader. By the time I am ready to get one all the proposed updates should be done. The RM1 is working quite well for daily work notes, reference pages and calendar entries. With the sync everything is on my phone or IPad for easy lookup, but the device is a bit too big for carrying around and bedside. The ax6 should fit the bill for personal use. Coach, this site is invaluable for assessing the various devices. Keep up the great tutorials and reviews.

Thanks for the video.. was waiting for your review for the device (hopefully another full review for this device is coming :) ) I recently bought the A6x and received around a week ago. My feelings are still confused about it. But overall I love the writing experience using A6x and the plastic cover over the screen makes writing feels paper-alike. The new update fixed most of the issues. highlighting issue still there but hopefully it will be addressed in a later update along with the PDF reader. Good news though, another update is coming by the end of September, which will add Kindle to A6x, which is a GREAT news for me, giving the fact that all my books are in Kindle, which will make reading books and PDFs more pleasing. Supernote should utilize the fact the X series actually uses Andriod and not Unix; hence, should add more apps that make a better experience for the user, such as adding Google Drive, Kindle, and maybe OneNote :) A Q. Why none of the e-ink notetaking (as far as I know) don't support handwritten search (search-friendly) as we can do that with OneNote for example in Andriod/iOS/Windows?

reMarkable has it - not the best but they do have it. I think they all use a 3rd party service.... thanks for the comment

ReMarkable 2 or Supernote A6x? I know you identify A6x as a sticky note replacement. But I am looking for a digital notebook at meetings and notes to study. I think A6x will suffice unless you strongly disagree?

Thank you for reviewing the reading aspect of supernote. Is the font generally applied to all epub as in boox (global setting) or do I need to do it with each individual epub book. I am aiming to set a default font/size/line wedith/etc..

Some pdf apps have a text flow option which makes it function similar to an epub. Perhaps Remarkable could consider that feature.

I got the Supernote A6X this afternoon. I absolutely do not like the feeling when writing on its screen. I prefer my Mobiscribe, even though the A6X is definitely stronger technically. Yes it has an ODD sensation - you either like it or hate it I don't think there is not middle ground. I will let everyone know on the Thur live you are willing to sell yours. Keep me posted if someone buys, we will for sure get someone who will want it :)

Seems they'll already be adding the zoom feature.. but in the meantime, can you set it to landscape? That's what I used to use for some pdfs on my kindle..

I think I read they'll bring pinch to zoom. Also, I notice you took the whole pen out of the holder. I just leave the top in the holder and just pop the pen in and out. Doesn't get in my way when I'm writing.

I have the A6X with Lamy Pen. I mostly like it for writing notes. One issue really troubles me. You can write a note (one or more pages) and move the entire note to a another folder. However if you have multiple pages in your note, you can’t move one page to another note or folder. This drives me crazy. Is there a way to do this? I can be in the middle of a To Do list in a note. Then get a call from a client. It is easy to add another page to my To Do list note. Write down some client notes. But i can’t move this page to another note or folder......how annoying. I see this as a serious shortfall of the Supernote software. Am i missing something?

With the EPUB you can change flights so it works but yeah definitely the PDF is difficult
