your videos are super helpful for learning the ins and outs of the supernote. Having recently received my nomad and watching this video, I noticed that the gesture lasso on the calendar isn't an option. Neither is the two finger side bar gesture for erasing and same for the undo and redo from the side bar. Wondering if this was available before the update on the A6X2.. There is always the possibility that I am doing something wrong!

Thank you for the comment and compliment. I would suggest that you send feedback to Ratta. I had never noticed this because I tend to use my A5X far more for planning and notetaking. You are 100 percent correct though that this function is different on the A5X. I can use the lasso tool to erase there on the calendar. They definitely need to know this and it is probably because of the difference in design and hardware.

Hi. When using the Kindle App to add a note, is it possible to add a manuscript note that stays in manuscript and doesn't convert to text? I'd prefer just to have my own handwritten notes as my handwriting doesn't contest too well.

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, this is limited by the Kindle App. You can make annotations in PDFs and Epubs for the digest. Eventually, I am hoping Amazon opens up their scribe function to be used on all e-ink devices via the app, but since that would reduce the need to buy a scribe, I am not holding my breath.

Does Supernote support a portable Bluetooth keyboard?

Thanks for the question. Yes, it does. @MyDeepGuide and @KitBetts-Masters have shown this functionality, which has improved over time.

Do the notes you create directly via the calendar go into any particular notebook or is there maybe a default notebook for the calendar? I like to have a notebook for each month's meeting notes.

Thanks for the question. Any note you create directly from the calendar goes directly to the main note directory. You can then move it later wherever you want and it will still be accessible from the calendar by creation date. For the moment, that is why I tend to create mine ahead of time whenever possible. It is a good suggestion for a user to be able to set a default location or pick it at the time the note is created.

@@Change-1820 I appreciate the answer, and it sounds like I could end up with 1000’s of individual notes rather than 1000 pages in a single notebook. Good to know, hadn’t put that together before. Thank you for your channel!

Thanks! This really helped bring me closer to being able to make a decision on which enotebook I hope to one day acquire. Do you read books or read for enjoyment at all on the Supernote or any ereader? Do you happen to have thoughts on how the medium itself perhaps affects the experience of engaging with literature or long form reading? Cheers~

Thanks for the comment., I am glad you found it useful. As for reading, I personally love it. I am co-teaching a course on Leadership Through the Classics and find the Kindle experience enjoyable. Also, here in the U.S., you can often use the Libby library app to "Send to Kindle" for library books. I do wish they would support the Kobo app, but otherwise it is a great experience. The caveat to that is that if I want to read in bed, the lack of a front light doesn't allow me to use this device but that is not my primary use and I usually have plenty of ambient light when using the device.

Hi.. How do you activate handwriting recognition in the comment section? I only have the keyboard...

Thanks for the comment. You need to press the globe on the keyboard, that will allow you to toggle modes.
