For me, by far the most useful feature was finding out about remote play! Sometimes the 'big TV' is in use and I can't play my Xbox, but finding out that my 10-year old laptop (which absolutely CANNOT handle gaming) can act as a 'screen', while all the actual processing is done by my Xbox, has been a revelation!

Every time I go to my settings on Xbox, it asks for my password before I enter and I have to do that over and over again if I leave or go back in, and also when I try to make a purchase in a game, it also asks again for my password, is there a way I can stop it from doing this???

@@godzillauzumaki2535 What you want to do is go to settings on Xbox one, go to the account category, go to sign-in, security & passkey, then go to change my sign-in & security preferences where you can make it where none of the accesibility of settings have no password or make it where your account requires a pattern for a passkey or whatever you want

One thing I still don't understand about my “Series X” is something that many people don't seem to know. I don't think my box is faulty, but when I record videos using the share button, they are not saved forever. Usually after about 4 weeks they are gone again. So I always have to copy everything to a USB stick as soon as possible. The first time I didn't know about this, I lost all my videos. And just to be clear. I'm not talking about any kind of online service, but really about the (offline) hard drive. Does the Xbox do this to ensure that the hard disk doesn't fill up? Or does this have to do with updates? I don't get it!

My sound bar and TV used to turn on with the Xbox, but since they removed the optical port, it no longer works. Not sure why they did that.

It still works Use Arc mode with the tv with a optical from TV to soundbar

What victor said but you can also use e-arc which is using a HDMI cable only. You can then have Dolby Atmos go to your sound bar with no optical cable. It also means you won’t need to switch between inputs when switching from Xbox to Antenna.

Me and my mate have been playing borderlands for a while now and my xbox 1 had a problem reading disks. So i got a xbox s and have transfered all of the data from one to the other. The only problem i have is we played co op but not online and he used an avatar character that was alresdy on the old xbox but it didnt transfer to my new xbox so can i somehow get that data transfered to or does the person who had it have to sign into microsoft so we can use it again
