You have to feel bad for her, because none of this is technically her fault. The only reason why Queen Sectonia was corrupt was because she stared into the dimensional mirror for too long which was given to her as a gift in the first place. It's driven Sectonia so far off that she doesn't even remember who she originally once was (which is similar looking to Taranza). If only we could have met Sectonia before her corruption. But on the other hand, I'm sure that would make Triple Deluxe a lot more sad of a story. Sectonia is clinging so hard to her vanity, that she's willing to refuse defeat numerous times to do so. First form, dreamstalk, dreamstalk again, dreamstalk but it's her soul, and literally dropping the dreamstalk as if it's a true burden even though it was the source of the majority of her power. The resilience!

I’m honestly surprised nobody has picked up on how the rendition of World to Win that plays during Soul of Sectonia’s second phase in the True Arena starts off with a death knell. A death knell is the ringing of a church bell to announce the death of a person. Historically, it was the second of three bells rung around death, the first being the passing bell to warn of impending death, and the last was the lych bell or corpse bell, which survives today as the funeral toll. World to Win in the Story Mode started off with triumph, but in the True Arena it’s much more somber. It’s REALLY unnerving because at that point you’re not fighting a final boss. You’re fighting a living creature that lost its mind to madness long ago and can no longer remember what it used to be. It’s essentially assisted suicide. Someone crying for help to be put out of their misery.

Agree. As a boss itself, I think I prefer Star Dream, but Sectonia is indeed the best villain. It makes sense for the other final bosses to have so many phases (Star Dream is an AI and Void Termina is literally a god). In Sectonia's case, on the contrary, it's pure hatred and determination that stop her from dying.

Is it really just pure hatred though? Personally, I’d say yes, except for this phase The Japanese description is in first person from Sectonia, and there, Sectonia was begging to be given eternal sleep. Before this phase, I can definitely see Sectonia keeps on coming back from pure hatred. For this phase, I like to think of this phase as Sectonia finally realising what happened and wanted to stop, but because of Dark Meta Knight’s influence going too far, she’s slowly losing control of herself. The dreamstalk is what gave most of her powers in phase 2, and so the only thing she could do is to rip her head off the dreamstalk before finally losing control of herself.

Seeing Sectonia’s Soul rip her head of the Dreamstalk made me feel very uncomfortable. Plus her constant maniacal laughter really felt like she just lost all of her grace. But on a sad note, her pause description says that she couldn’t hear a voice calling out to her anymore, (that voice obviously being Taranza) makes this not a fight but assisted suicide. This is honestly my favorite Kirby song ever, passing Astral Birth Void and C-R-O-W-N-E-D Firstly, For 7-8 entire years I’ve gotten almost 100% in Kirby triple deluxe, but I’ve never beaten the true arena because it was way too hard for me, then after I started playing Kirby games again, I realized that I’ve changed and now I can try taking on the true arena. Secondly, This song to me, symbolizes the years that have past that I haven’t freed Sectonia’s soul from her body that she’s lost, and Taranza wanting Kirby to kill her because it’s the only other option just adds the extra feels to this song. And Finally, it just sounds so good.

Kirby Clash Deluxe shows that Dark Mind is still alive and Shadow Dedede in this game reinforces that point. Further more, there is evidence that, at this point, Dark Mind has started to completely corrupt Sectonia's mind. She screeches and laughs as if she's insane, and one of her attacks turns her into an eyeless fireball, which has an extremely close similarity in appearance to Dark Mind itself. This is honestly one of the best battles ever in kirby. It's an hard battle, has attacks which range from balanced to hard to dodge, the setting of this battle, the godly music and the biggest reason imo, the lore. This has to be the saddest bosses in kirby history. Taranza wanted to give Sectonia a mirror as a gift. They were close friends, but the mirror, which is the same one from the Amazing Mirror with Dark Meta Knight, corrupted Sectonia that not only did she not care about Taranza anymore, but she couldn't even remember her original form anymore. She can't hear the voice of help anymore and needs an eternal beauty sleep, which means you have to kill her as she's far gone and can't return to her former self. Taranza was sad to lose his friend and tried to get her back, but later accepted that she's dead and can't be brought back to life. The form she took in Triple Deluxe wasn't even her true form. She looked similar to Taranza. She was also persistent and refused to die as shown in the fights in the story and the true arena. Sectonia is clinging so hard on her vanity that she's willing to refuse defeat multiple times to do so. First her bee form, then fusing with the dreamstalk, then the dream stalk again, then the dreamstalk as her soul and lastly literally dropping the dreamstalk as if it's a true burden even though it was the source of the majority of her power. Her resilience was so great that she refused to die and was even willing to drop her source of most of her power to keep fighting. This fight just shows how dark and sad kirby can actually get.

This is how all my True Arena attempts have gone: 1) I use the Archer ability. 2) Every boss in the first half of the event gets dunked on. Archer's Camoflauge is OP. 3)The first two Nightmare Four bosses get dunked on. 4) Ten minutes of waiting for Dark Meta Knight to stop using his combo attacks, then hitting him over and over with charged attacks, which are also OP. 5) Soul of Sectonia loses half of her health quickly, then I lose my ability when she uses that vine attack on the last 1/4 of her HP. 6) I beat her as Normal, Spark, or Fire Kirby. 7) This plays, and I know I"m done for. The farthest I've ever gotten was to 1/3 of that phase's HP. That Drawcia fireball leap attack gets me every time.

use hammer also don't attack when the thorns come, you are invicible motionless while crouching as archer

​@@matiasgomez8651 if you dont know, archer is used because it has a camouflage that they forgot to balance, it makes you immune to I'm pretty sure nearly everything in the game barring phase transitions and crushing attacks (maybe lasers too)

I prefer stone so I don't have to hold down and chip down the bosses health that slowly, and stone has an overpowered dash attack that can 5 shot the deluxe minibosses

I have always loved the style of triple deluxes sound track has sounded, also has anyone noticed a different style for the Kirby music of today return to dream land had a epic soundtrack, triple deluxe had a very symphonic style, and robobot had a much more electronic style

Very generic, and I can't remember any of the songs from them even though I'm normally very good at remembering music

I think it's become quite clear that this is not Sectonia anymore at this point so you are wondering what is Sectonia Soul then. Well it's described as an empty husk but something still has to be controlling it. Well if you look at the order of the bosses in the True Arena Dark Meta Knight who is believed to be the one responsible for her corruption is fought before Sectonia Soul. Though Kirby is successful in defeating Dark Meta Knight I don't think he was truly defeated. Rather only his physical body was shattered but he was still very vengeful and willing to go through with his plan even from beyond the grave. His soul enters what remains of his once proud puppet. Now an animated corpse for his spirit form to control. Possessing Sectionia Soul Dark Meta Knight tries one more time to go through with his plan and end Kirby as well as steal all the life from Popstar. Despite this Dark Meta Knight underestimated the power of Kirby and despite this Sectonia Soul was destroyed taking what little remained of Dark Meta Knight with it. I think for all intensive purposes Dark Meta Knight is dead this time...unless the theories about a reflection can only die if it's real counterpart dies then maybe Dark Meta Knight might still be alive. I hope this is not true because that would mean in order for Dark Meta Knight to truly die the one that he is a reflection of must die and that's the last thing anyone would want.

How to beat soul of Sectonia: 1- Begin with full health and make it through most of her first form with minimal damage. 2- Make it to the last phase of SoS' first form before getting hit by one strong attack and dropping whatever powerful ability you had. 3- Watch your ability fall into a pit, helpless to retrieve it. 4- Lose half of your remaining life trying to spit stars at targets that only move low enough to hit while attacking, and miss most opportunities because a pit slowed you down. 5- Reach Sectonia's final form with your health only barely above red and dodge two whole attack cycles without any means of fighting back. 6- Finally get the only worthwhile ability obtainable during the fight and zap that despicable insect during the one or two attacks where it's actually possible to hit her. 7a- Fail anyway because both forms are ridiculously unfair. The first phase has multiple foes and several pits to get in your way while the second phase is never in a position to hit, much like another unbearable boss in this game. 7b- Win with 2 pixels of health left and never attempt Triple Deluxe's true arena again because Soul of Sectonia is still only the second worst boss in it. 8- Either way, fuck Pyribbit.

I've never beaten the True Arena before but after so many attempts and SD card crashes I managed to do my best and beat it in the most epic way possible. Sectonia Soul made me drop my Fire ability and I had a bit of trouble fighting her vines with just stars, but when she entered her 2nd phase my heart was beating a lot! And surprisingly enough I found it easy to dodge and attack her with her blades, I had a tiny spec of health left until I decided to use the Maxi-tomato I had stored this whole time and I felt really confident. I even recovered my Fire ability by absorbing one of her goons and it was an absolute cake walk! And to top it all of I lit Kirby on fire and let one of her vines to pierce me only to fall to my burning might! And then, I finally defeated her! After all these years and I was so happy!
