Not just Lumos but any spell that is required for puzzle solving. It's cumbersome to have to keep switching in and out of them when I don't like them for combat even with the other slots unlocked. Really they need a better UX if they're gonna make a second one.

As a Game Developer myself, multi-player is something that should be done first and throughout the development of a game. Building multi-player after a game is developed is much harder than just integrating it from the start.

this is legit the only thing i wanted..didn't care for quidditch personally..however it would be super easy to do...for a werewolf and animagus DLC. i think they should have these options for different reasons They already have animals in the game so based on what i observed Cat/Rabbit/Toad/Rat/Squirrel - Stealth Golden Eagle/Sea Bird/Crow/Vulture/Owls - Flight Cow/Sheep/Deer-Ground Speed Fish-Faster Swimming and we know there is a wolf animagus enemy Wolf - Combat so there you have it 15 animals butn they each already have there own movement and animation so it's just a matter of havign your character tunr into that "actor" so from development standpoint shouldn't be too difficult to develop as the models and animations are already done.

Honestly besides other games I've played besides Elden, Hogwarts is one of the most complete in terms of actually content and bugs in the game, I've experienced only a few strange white spot textures popping up but disappeared before I really notice them. However I think thats due to me play via 144htz PC monitor which is the only thing I have available to hook my Xbox up to. The only reason I notice it is because I post some game content to KZbin and I see it in editing.

@@kevavake Im sure it's because of the metroidvania pacing. Having access to all spells would means we would be able to gets to the place we shouldnt be in, when we shouldnt be there. One of the way they could maintain the pace is to lock all spells again until we can get it in the story, but then it'd feel like playing a new game anyway because then just having all the talents and high health and not much else at the start is like dialing difficulty down to easy mode.

Lumos skill tree would be cool eg. Cast lumos ball that follows you around allowing to use other spells at same time And Lumos Solem - when used in combat blasts blinding sunlight at the enemies leaving them stunned and reduces their spell accuracy for x amount of time?

Or what region you’re arriving in. they should have some signs that will tell you southern Hogwarts region. they did good on putting that on the map. even the screen reader will read the map. @@Cthulhu4President Except that’s not the case. the few games of this decade that are as polished as this game on release, GTA 5, God of War, Elden ring, RDR2, Witcher 3, Far Cry Series, were all given solid dev support after the fact. Even with drama at some of the studios Second mods are just that. Mods. Accessible to a small amount of the community. Typically buggy and rarely fully implemented in the long run. And RARELY “original”. There’s not a mod released for GTA etc. that a dev didn’t “think of” rather just didn’t have time to code a “all the windows roll down” mod for a game where it’s not important. So I’m partially with you. I’m all for the modern Dev hate because 99% of the companies deserve it. But when a studio clearly does the opposite we need to run them the proper respect

Just stop. They are clearly focused on releasing the ps4 on april 4th and switch version in july. If they plan on dlc then it wont be till after that. No big deal. I for one am glad they are focused on releasing all versions of the game first before any dlc plans or discussions about it take place. Gives me confidence that they are putting actual effort into the ps4 version and not half baking it. I have my Deluxe edition pre ordered and couldn't be happier about this news. I love how people are saying modders are gonna ruin the game like they are being FORCED to use mods, I’ll lay it out for those of you that are literal children and don’t understand what this means if you want it solo play solo. I doubt this mod will change the whole game look at the Skyrim co op mod it took years to be released and it was buggy mess but it was the ambition behind it that has my respect, people make these projects to further their knowledge of development and to maybe make some people happy with the final product so look at it this way it either runs well and people can enjoy the game together or it doesn’t and people continue to play solo people will never be happy. It would be nice if your wand would stay lit when solving them off puzzle. especially when it’s in our location that you can get lost in. by the time you find out where it goes, you may have to refined them off. and some people have trouble holding the button down for that long. for those who prefer what they already have going, maybe they can make a change in the accessibility feature how the button works with your spellcasting. that could be in settings.

DLC is great but in my opinion DLC is a waste of money, to keep the game marketable and people interested, it needs a co-op version and an online version with roles and story line like RDO. i would say that i would do what rockstar did create a separate online mode for the game add it's own story elements and mini games and quidditch all in the separate online version glad it is not in the main game because people would be too focus on playing with friends and doing mini games online then ignore the story and side missions for the main game

I think that the reason people are already so anxious about DLC is because the game already feels so polished. Yeah devs usually fix bugs first and I know that there are bugs to be fixed. But I'm also ready to wait for DLC cause I'm already so satisfied with what they put out at launch. And if I have to wait for DLC on par with the quality of the rest of the game then I'm more than prepared to pitch my tent.

Yeah, Lumos should be a toggle on toggle off thing. I also wish we could disable the Alohomora minigame. It is completely and utterly pointless and becomes very annoying. Especially as in the first couple of seconds the rings dont do anything. I would also like to be able to turn off or at least reduce the frequency of my character giving hints. I find a lot of the time I am given hints as I am already doing the thing and sometimes even AFTER I have already solved a puzzle. It gets annoying pretty quickly.

I highly doubt console will get Hogwarp what usually happens is that Game Developers usually make some modding tools for Gamers to download, and then leave the community to do what it wants with them (develop, and distribute whatever mods). In the case of a console however, the Game Developers have to develop modding support for their game.

The game is fun. I was addicted. But once you get to winter , everything becomes monotonous. It’s the same fetch quests over and over, and you become super over powered. The main storyline was meh… the game is great, it’s just the same exact style of quest OVER and OVER. The best part of this game is 1) the combat 2) just exploring

If this mode is done good enough i feel like its possible to make a deal with the mod team and make it official so you don't need to crack the consoles :D As for me i plan to finish 100% the other 3 left houses i did not yet and if they add MP maybe try it.

I know im in the minority here.... not all games need to have a multiplayer mechanic. With that said though.... Quidditch with multiplayer would be fun as hell. Personally glad they didnt add multiplayer during development. Wed have gotten alot less content and details in the game and to act like that is not the case is to be in utter denial. Multiplayer has ruined many a fantastic singleplayer experience imo. There are exceptions of course.... Heres looking at you Ghost of Tsushima

Would be cool if the maxima potion gave an added affect to spells, for example if you used it with lumos, the ball of light would hover above you like in the movies

Literally the only thing missing in this game is multi-player and we all know how easy it wouldve been to implement it the real problem is the company's pushing these game devs to release they're game on their schedule and not on their own with all the time they would need to work out the patches

i wouldnt mind if game developers added dlc in the version of bringing out a game then see what most people want put that in the game as dlc after release for a small fee like 1 euro,developers put manpower into adding these things so i think a small compensation is fair,so 1 euro or a small fee to there liking for a fuw extra fan requested content and so fans can pick with dlc they want if they bring out dlc is a combo cluster that fits together nd the copany makes a small amount of extra money that way a game developer is greatly insentivized to listen to fans. the biggest request i have is new game plus where we keep our lv our skillpoints appearences we unlocked our equiped gear and possibly spells and mounts and our ingame money. having said all this its the best game for me since skyrim and fallout.

Why do they insist in making it only single player??? Why they don’t see the success of It Takes Two it’s a coop game that most ppl enjoy with family and friends and they could do the same with Hogwarts!! Still keeping the single player for ppl who don’t wish to play in a coop mode it’s easy but I don’t know why they insist on single player that’s stupid.

i dont think it shoud be active wile using another spell dosent mke sense to me unless you have a second wand becouse the light comes direct from the wand so it shoudnt work unless they make us to be able to do wandless spells i mean wands can only cast 1 spell at the time and they cant use another spell when they all rdy have 1 active but woud be nice if it stayed acitved when climing jumping etc

People need to realize this mod is bare bones as hell and makes the game really unbalanced, more work goes into something like this that a mod just can't do.
