I live in Eccles, about 40 years ago I started working as a building subcontractor for a firm who’s work was based all around Stockport, I got to know the area very well and I realised what an industrial history it has( similar to Salford), yes there’s lots of interesting history to Stockport, thanks for the video it was excellent

a beautiful montage of history and a lovely music set to show case it "very Tubular bells esc" (looked at the description its an oldfield track lol good choice m8).. nice Video all round it shows the history perfectly (im a tad teary) :)

Well done done Robert. We used to live on Oliver st many moons ago but it had to disappear for the then college, also, we used to collect for the Guy Fawkes on the War Memorial steps. -----Memories !!! ------------------------------

Nice one Robert, ever think about doing a piece on Anna Mendelson of the angry brigade, a very controversial but interesting figure from Stockport, you could do all the places connected to her like the market where she helped out as a child and her grammer school.
