It was not clear. When he used the front facing cameras, the iPhone had better sound quality IMO, but when he used the rear facing cameras Samsung was definetely better in most cases, but not always. iPhone sometimes sounded like you are in a box.

If you mean the sharpness then you're right. Samsung used a 16 MP wide-angle for the note 10 (Plus), but for the s20 (ultra) they used a 12 MP. It sounds bad, but that means that were getting better low light shots on the wide-angle camera on the S20.

Hey Supersaf, I updated my S20 Ultra to the latest update ending with ATCT. The HDR is finally working and I can see a big difference. Before this and in particular in the version you used HDR was basically not doing anything at all. Enabling or disabling HDR didn't change the image quality at all. Now, even shots at the sun don't blow it out anymore and keeps shadow details. Also the Auto Focus is very good now. My S10+ still focuses more quickly though. Maybe the test is worth a revist now. It is pity that Samsung launched the Ultra half baked and finished it only later.

Iphone for the win, overall. Zoom and night mode is where the s20 ultra wins. For everyday usage, people generally look at the colors and dynamic range, which is clearly better on the iphone. Samsung has the perfect hardware, it just needs that software update for increased dynamic range and also so that it doesn’t blow out the highlights as much as it did in the video. Anyways, great video Supersaf! 🙌 Was waiting for this since a long time. P.S. This is just my opinion guys, I respect your opinion too.

Dimitris Jk who said anything about iPhones. Samsung fan panties get bruised when the overhyped S20U can’t just 1400 price. This phone was sold on it camera abilities. 4 cameras, 108 megapixel, 40 megapixel etc and it still underperforms. Be fucking realistic. Speaking of iPhone, the numbers on paper for hardware don’t compare to s20 but it outperforms the s20. Camera and battery still better despite lower numbers

I had almost all samsung models and never owned an iPhone.. but how can you say Samsung is way way better? The colors on the iPhone 11 are definitely better and that's the most important.. the rest both are doing fine.. At the price, it's even normal.. But try with any Samsung including s20ultra to photograph red lights.. they come out always white pinkish.. never red. iPhone is great in that.. intense red, that's how it should be..

Nightmode definitely was not perfected on either of them until the next model or 2. On my iphone 11 i notice that the nightmode brightness definitely puts in work, but the quality will be so much worse it’s almost not worth it. Came on here to see if the s20 ultra was any better because I wont spend over 400$ on a phone and it’s pretty much the best you can get by the ip11 for that price range in 2022… not even sure why im doing this though, my camera on the 11 is perfect. (besides the nightmode)

Great analysis! You did one of the best jobs I've seen of being unbiased, pointing out when one is clearly better than the other, versus times when you simply had a personal preference. I think by doing it that way, you encourage the viewer to figure out for themselves which is their preference. This also encourages me to be patient and wait for the iPhone 12 series. If they address some of the shortcomings of the 11, then it will be worth buying that. If not, I may just get a savings on the 11 (assuming it will be available at discounts when the 12 comes out.)
