Making snacks is also cheap if you know how to bake. Most kids like cookies. And with fortified flour it's even got some good nutrition for them! Especially the peanut butter or pumpkin cookies. Or oatmeal, but those aren't as popular.

I agree on the kids part... one time I went to Walmart for hot dogs and took my niece and came out spending $50 and half of that was on her

They're just gonna get thrown away after they're done. A store brand works fine if it only needs to last a day.

I shop my markdown areas at my grocery store I have gotten Ziploc and glad sandwich bags cheaper than the store brand
