Basically, Always make Tom get the most expensive item (depends on your level), buy 9 from him, then sell it for full price and make profit To make sure you don’t forget about Tom, it’s a better idea to set a 2 hour timer on your phone than the indigo thing he mentioned.. Saved you 17 minutes ;p

At low levels it’s all about coins to buy new buildings at higher levels you will have more coins than you could ever use! A great way to gain coins is to find a high level player who will sell you anything for one coin, than you sell it back to them for the the max number of coins! This method only requires some free barn space and some time because you can buy and sell the same items over and over gaining coins every time!

Another Golden Oldie recommended by KZbin! -- I discovered how to get a free run from Tommy boy. (I don't remember you mentioning it later, but you may have.) If you have a "free Tom" booster, use it while you already have him hired. Wait til he is awake, send him for an order 🏃‍♂️, then as soon as he goes back to sleep, activate the booster. Bing! He hops back up again, at your service! 😊 -- Great to watch again. Always motivating.

Great video -- Tom's my buddy! -- Hay Day took away the 7-8 item option some time ago after there was a glitch with Tom, sort of as a consolation/apology. I understood it to be a temporary thing, but they never changed it back, so the last option is always 9. I'm not complaining! Unless it's a glitch on my farm. Ssssshhh!

When i got him 3 days for free, i used him for saws and axes to clear my farm. Once i reached level 41 i hired him for 15 diamonds and used him for diamond rings because you make a profit of 5k every time so let’s say you use him 8 times a day that’s 5 x 8 = 40k. In my eyes 40k is worth 15 diamonds.

Love this! I was using Tom mainly for saws and axes and occasionally for mining equipment but after watching this video, I now realize that I've been using him all wrong and that's why I buy Rose and Ernest instead of Tom. The nap thing is exhausting! 😂 I need a nap just thinking about his nap he took on my dime. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 Anyway, I get enough axes and saws, for the most part, as gifts from my town's guests and from working fields. It would be ample if I had only learned this early enough and kept the dead trees cleared but I have a backlog of them at this point. The dead trees take up more space than living trees you may need to plant around for a while. Hindsight is 20/20. Thanks for teaching me how to use Tom best so I can bulk up coins to catch-up on buying/building my machines needed for items to sale and for animals and their fields, or anything that makes me money. 🤑 Your help is priceless. Keep sharing your ideas and techniques with us even if you think it's only a diamond in the rough at the moment because even that lump of coal could cause a chain reaction of ideas in your subscribers that will eventually help us all get greater HayDay rewards and benefits. Jam, juice, etc. you can make money in your farm by not selling items on truck or boats for 2 weeks by selling items for boats or trucks in your shop. Crops sell too. Especially carrots, soybeans, and sugarcane.

Legxndary open chests, and fish, I’ve calculated out that you can get 510+ diamonds in total just by fishing. Mining will get you diamonds every now and then too. In 2 weeks I got over 100 diamonds.

Legxndary I meant collecting the fish and then collect diamonds from the fishing book for the catch, depending if you caught a new fish or a fish that you caught before but it weighs more than the last time you caught the same type of fish, so you get bronze, silver, gold etc. Bad explanation but I hope you know what I mean

I actually thought you would mention the best value for obtaining Tom when you mentioned about how you initially first get him for 3 days free. You did not. What players should do is when they are first introduced to "3 day Tom for free" is use Tom all 3 days if necessary to get axes and saws and mining items to clear all trees, rocks, and bogs from the land(not including expansion item required land)!. This way later on as you need available space for buildings and planting your own bushes/trees the space is already clear and you are not relying on other multiple ways to get these items. You could have just used one way, Tom during his "3 day free" period.

By default it’s 2 hours for everyone. But you can uses boosters too shorten how long he naps for. :)

You get to use him for free as a trail. Just to see what he is like. But then he costs diamonds to hire him. Although you can get boosters that let you use him for 24 hours or so.

After the initial 3 day free trial for Tom expires, it will cost diamonds to use him. There are boosters that allow you to use Tom for free for some hours but you have to already have used diamonds to pay for his service. I think there is a booster that allows you to use Tom for free for some hours without having to spend diamonds on him first but I personally have not seen that latter booster. If you're willing to buy the 4,000 diamond package for $100, those 4,000 diamonds will last you one full year to use on Tom and you would have some diamonds left over.
