Looks like a RAV4 to me. It also looks like Halogen headlights (and incandescent tail lights) which may narrow down years/trims as I am sure some had/have LED headlights. EDIT: It likely is NOT an LE (Base) due to color matching mirrors. This means it has to be a 2013-2015 XLE or Limited or 2016-2018 XLE.

Rob, you forgot to mention that on cars with Keyless entry the thieves use signal boosters/extenders to pickup your key fob and then open your door. To prevent this you need to keep your keys in a shielded faraday pouch that blocks the signal from going out. These pouches are strong enough to prevent a keyless entry car from detected the key even if you hold it against the door.

This needs to be treated on the same level as Kia not putting immobilizers on their cars. This automatic keyless entry stuff has GOT to stop. The "convenience" factor doesn't matter when a car is this trivially easy to steal.

Just a tip from England to everyone. House break ins in England are now primarily about stealing car keys... DO NOT leave your keys where they can be seen or reached from a simple broken window. If they cannot be seen then searching for them is far too risky and the thieves will move on.

Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!!!!! (BABVVEN)

Years ago when I was a child my parents used to leave their cars unlocked, it was a nice neighborhood at the time and we had never had any problems. Dad went to leave for work and there was a drunk guy who managed to get into his truck, passed out on the seat, pissed himself at some point, ruining the seat, a set of clothes dad had left in there, and iirc, some computer stuff from Dad's work, which in the 90s, was worth a lot. Ever since that, all of the doors on all of our cars stay locked.

One piece of advice if you have a shitty car, leave the doors unlocked (with of course nothing of value inside) As a ex-cop that was the advice for people who lived in bad areas of town and you were driving a junker. Otherwise, with your doors locked, they break the window, rifle through your stuff and leave you with a window that doesn’t meet your deductible so you are out a few hundred dollars. Doors unlocked, they refuel through your car, find nothing and move on to the next. With that being said, I always lock my doors, but I don’t driver junker cars….

Rob, I usually side with you on these things, but this was 1000% preventable. I live in a safe town and I still lock my car in my garage. You parked a literal million dollar car(458 speciales are almost there). Out in the open, unlocked, close to the street. They didn't even need to really walk that far into your property. You left it in plain view.

If I was Rob, and planned on doing a lot of entertaining, I would put in a circular driveway, so that there is none of this shuffling around cars monkey business when my guests want to leave. And they are spared the indignity of having to back out of a driveway onto a busy road. He has plenty of room on that property. So, unfortunately, that will require the installation of TWO gates. Gates and a wall, or shrubbery, to provide privacy from people passing by on the street, is really the best way to protect against this sort of thing.

As someone who had been robbed before when I was out with people and it ended up being by someone who knew one of the people I was out with I am guessing they either knew someone at the party or followed the Giants player or knew someone he knew. You need to throw a fence and gate up this week and you should have had driveway sensors. I have a driveway sensor, hardwired cameras and also Ring and Blink cameras, you are not getting on my property without setting something off. Another thing you should do and it's next on my list and something no one does is have a camera at the bottom of the driveway facing the house. Also another thing I learned over the years and alarm companies never do, wire the side garage doors to your alarm system, knew a guy years ago that had thieves waiting in the garage because they knew the house had an alarm but not the side door to the garage. Actually worked out too because someone tried to get through the side door one time to get in and the alarm went off and they took off.

Rob you have some pretty big issues here.... First off why was the Ferrari unlocked in the first place? I never leave any of my vehicles unlocked and i do not have specialized car thief in my area, if you knew about them being in your area why would you take any risk? Second, I would seriously consider and electric gate going across the driveway (very common in Florida) relatively inexpensive and a deterrent for thieves, as you pointed out they are looking for anything a gate in the way would probably have deterred them completely. Third, as another commentor pointed out they took Mutiple pictures of the Ferrari and due to the ease of access to your car i would imagine they are going to come back and with their own key fob and they will most likely be able to move the car that way. I would take some extra precautions and be extremely careful...

It'll surely be in Ferraris systems so when it went in for maintenance, it would pop up as stolen.
