I didn't think to donate during the stream, so I've just sent some "coffee" your way. Thanks for the fun festival, and your kind words! I can't wait for this summer.

Thank you Fraser and all contributors. It is so good to get to know each other better, not only as musicians but as fellow humans, internationally. I look forward hoping that in the next few days that the Sunday video and voting results get sorted and timestamped for easier enjoyment and reference. Glory to the cauliflower and baby spider heroes!

That was waaaaaaay out of my comfort zone, but I am happy for the opportunity to share my enthausiasm with the gang. Very awsome to see some of the people of the gang perform and I am eager to learn more about eachother and share stuff. I am an advocate for an extra platform to build and bond the gang on as a community to share each others enthausiasm, meet up and most importantly get better and help each other out with their interests! Sorry about the: "tonights main perfomance" was in reference to two short bits in advance about my unusual Hauptwerk/Sweelinq setup and my enthausiasm for mechanical organs and playing with the wind on them. They where likely out cause I had glitches in the audio and video in those bits on my end already! We had a ton of fun at the organ, but yeh, no time to really get used to the organ, you are basically switching positions after each bit you play and most certainly no time for retakes or correcting mistakes. What you see my friends to is desperately cutting out the charmades as we where increasing the Setzer in which there was some form of crescendo programmed. We already had 3 noise complaints at that point and as we definitely want to return there... The walk in croud was cheering us on atleast 😂 About the appliances bit, yes I too designed the whole electrical bit behind my organ console, and a lot is still work in progress. I am working on rocker and drawstops with oled displays, midi muxing, but beside organ stuff also home automation, smart knobs with haptic feedback, joystics and other devices with haptic and force feedback... Super cool to see everyone and a well deserved first place! Looking forward to the next one of these, but probably hard pass for me for the next time. You all have seen me perform this time, next time its your turn to share!

What a fantastic evening of music. Every contribution is a winner in its own right. However one thing makes me feel sad. It’s about the voting. To be precise it’s the amount of one-star votings each and every piece got. I think that’s disrespectful of the effort everyone has put into their recording. Even if the piece itself is not to my taste I can at least honor the work and time that went into the performance. And that alone should have been worth more than one star.

Agreed. Nothing deserved less than seven stars . . . and most deserved ten stars with champagne corks popping.

KZbin is a place where the good and the awful bits of humanity shine through this was an awful attempt from some to influence the outcome strongly in favor of their preferred performer... Even on something like this where participation is the key thing rather than winning the performance, as it is all about sharing eachothers enthausiasm. Whatever you do, many will be like that even when doing your best to prevent it. On a positive note and why we shouldn't discourage them from participating in watching and contributing, even in a negative way: They watched and contributed, and with that "Helped getting the Gartshore Gang back on the Road!" 🤣

I really couldn't see the details in the pie charts that whizzed past with tiny writing. I'm not a fan of judging or being judged. My method was to start somewhere around the middle for the first one, then relatively add or take stars for each subsequent entry. Else you have no way to give an outstanding vote if you give everyone (nearly) full marks. I didn't see anything that only deserved one star, geez! Everyone was 50% or higher to me. I'd say most of my votes were 70%. One star reviews are for when you're forced to give someone a vote even when they don't really deserve any. Condescending participation awards. A long long time ago I got invited to judge amateur films because a film group found me in the business directory and wanted some judges from the industry, as well their club. I did that for 2 or 3 years. And while liking seeing productions, I didn't like passing judgement. You really do not want to be the cause of someone getting really upset over their pet project. And even the stuff you may not be interested in has had a lot of work go into it. So you rate things by merit, not just your liking. We'd watch films, then rate them as we went along, waiting for us all to finish our notes before going on. One was comparatively quite poor, quite out of character from *everything* else that I'd seen, and as they were waiting for me to finish scoring, and taking too long over it, I said "I'm having trouble finding something positive to say about this one." Each one I'd try to say a bit about something I liked about it, so I rated by praise rather than critique. I'll let someone else work that way, there were enough judges there. Later that night, the same contributor entered a properly edited version of the same film (a bit of rule breaking, I'm sure, to enter twice, or at least a bit cheeky). And that was the last time they asked me to judge. Unknown to me at the time of my remarks, the producer was in the room (one of the other judges). I detest 5 star reviews that everyone demands on the internet these days. You only get that if you were outstanding, if you merely did your job you get a "satisfactory" or "very good." eBay springs to mind where you're supposed rate 4 or 5 categories, yet you may have had no communication with them because you simply bought something, but you're supposed to give them a good rating for communication, and they want 5 stars for all categories and nothing less. You'll get bitching back at you if you don't. Likewise with google reviews of restaurants. I haven't sampled all the menu, we didn't ask anything demanding of them to have received service beyond the norm, etc. Yet they ask you to give a 5 star rating, and some will delete anything less than 4 stars. If I've got to a restaurant just once and things were sub par, I won't rate them. You never know that something may have gone wrong that's completely out of their control that day. You have to go there again to get a grasp for how they are. Well, unless it's like going to Basil Fawlty's hotel, and it's obvious they're always going to be like that.

@@CameraTim-DAMMITDOTcom Thanks. I don't enjoy voting/judging competitions, unless like this one, we were just having fun contributing and getting to enjoy and learn more about each other better as friends. Regarding Basil Faulty's Hotel in the series, "Faulty Towers", I would definitely give it a rating of ten stars out of five. The service and entertainment were excellent. Highly recommended. The cauliflower and broccoli soup was especially delicious, and the staff was so kind to us about fulfilling our special request to cover our honeymoon flower bouquets with fresh lively friendly barking baby spiders.

I think Mattt King's image was left to right inverted. Judging by the words on his hat. So both instruments were right handed.
