I’m a diamond Hel (she’s definitely my favorite god) and my tip is watch carefully to cues on enemy’s about to use CC. Hel’s light 2 is amazing and does wonders in saving an ally, and recognizing the CC cues helps I predicting when to use your cleanse.

omg yes. I’m diamond Hel as well. I always cringe when someone else plays her because they don’t do this one simple thing. Her cleanse can be the total difference in team fights. It’s basically another set of beads for the whole team that has a crazy low CD.

@@king_tutt7063 idk if you will see but you have to know that hel isnt a tank shes a mage what you can do is Light stance use your 3 and then go for the fight or when you are below half life stance switch to light use your 3 and if they have cc slow or hard cc use your 2 in yourself Sry if it is a little messy but you probably dont need now =)

honestly love this vid i have one problem though when attacking towers don't use dark stance it gives increased damage sure but if you get ganked out of nowhere your essencially f**ked because light stance gives you a better chance of escape you have no idea how much this has saved me

@@DoubleDreamer Yes, you sacrifice the damage increase for extra protection and ready heals just in case you get ganked. You do high damage as Hel, but you also need to realize you are kinda squishy without that extra protection.

I have to disagree on the fact that you prioritize her 3. While it does give more team healing it will force you to push up a lot more to clear the wave. Leveling your 1 means you have a high damage short cooldown clear / poke which is going to increase your win chance especially in mid lane

Great idea! I will start adding these to my guides as a general rule of thumb but as a note: relics are super situational. I'd say in most cases for Hel: Heavenly wings - If you find yourself not doing well against slows Beads - Against someone with hard CC although you can also practice using your 2 to cleanse yourself before it happens Aegis - No mobility, no escape, works against hard ultimates (Nox, Pos, Baron, Neith... etc)

Little late to the party here but another quick combo I make use of is: (dark stance) 2 -> 1 -> 3 (switch to light stance) 1 That last ability comes in handy for finishing off a fleeing enemy

I've been a Hel main since 2017. The most difficult part of Hel for me, is landing the 1 in light stance, and timing the cleanse. It does get easier to time the 2 with experience, as you learn to spot an emeny about to use cc. Landing the light 1 is still hard to this day.

There is one other Hel combo not mentioned, you take either of the last two Dark combos and add a Light 1 on the end for more damage. So either D2 + D1 + D3 + L1 or D2 + D3 + D1 + L1.

This. With my arena build this combo melts. Conquest and joust, that’s the go to 1v1 combo. Throw in a L3 for a self heal when needed.

What’s your thoughts on a Hel remodel because her base model looks pretty terrible or maybe even expelled hair remodel or new good skins because she currently has 2 good skins, expelled would be good if her hair on her light side didn’t look like a mop and solstice is horrid. If I'm playing Hel support or solo then I like to stay idle in my light stance for the extra protections during the laning phase, and then I switch to dark as I see the minions approaching from the enemy tower which should be just enough time to become attuned to dark stance. Obviously this is situational, and in general I agree with Teeds that it's better to remain idle in your dark stance but it means if there's a gank I'm already equipped to deal with it with my cleanse and heals.

I agree with the support option, staying idle in your light stance is good since you're supporting! As a solo, I usually idle in dark (walk from base) because once you get there you'll have to damage the minions and Hel's clear is bad. Usually I build defense in solo which makes her clear even worst so the 3 second attunement is vital! I switch to light stance when the situation is needed (warrior solo starts hurting me, pressuring me etc) I rely on map awareness and wards to make sure I don't get surprised/ganked. A ping from a ward is enough time to alert me and swap to my support stance if I need to cleanse. Other than that, I wouldn't go too far ahead in lane as Hel as her mobility is just terrible and she gets caught out so easily :(

Although you will have to go up you literally go up press three and retreat. its not that dangerous only when you dont know where the jungler is. however with the role as support your job is suppose to put the minions down to a point where the carry can one shot them and i dont think warriors blessing is a good start because that item kinda fell out of meta...

for mid i like to go mages bless, warlocks staff, pen boots, shield of regrowth, spear of desolation, chronos pendant, and ethereal staff. this build makes you not so squish and super speady to escape fights you can't win. also the damage is really good. I also prefer maxing her one before her 3 though. it is safer poke just a little later for full on clear.

I generally use Light Stance when attack Towers or objectives. Its better cause you hain the MP5 from her Light passive. This causes you to gain mana for when people are going to come and gank you. So you have some mana to attack. Or heal.

Just so everyone know when you gain power you gain healing power as well, btw i would do a 1 3 combo because as the one hits your already using three so you get a very heavy burst. sprint is a very useful item fo rhel because it has no counter to it and it can also be used offensively for chasing down enemies, builds were great except warriors blessing and everything else was awesome and I just dont agree that hel should be a gaurdian, even aphro is all around a better support than hel

ive got 9 stars on hel. This is helpful but hel has much more potential to do so much damage. I see so many bad hels build so horribly on her. You should be getting kills while maintaining a support role.

@SuperTeeds I personally just build raw pen and defense. Her scalings are only 60% so high power is not that great. Even in mid it's best to build voidstone or spiritrobe after boots. Your base damage is so high that power is rather pointless just build tank with pen and you should be fine

Hey there! Where do you get 60% from? I had a look on her page again and she doesn't seem to have any scaling that goes up to 60%. I gather information from builds by pros on every video to make sure you guys get the best possible build for each God (in Conquest.) Of course, everyone can personalise and build the way they do but I would like to add: Her heal doesn't scale with pen, so if you want to increase her healing (1 & 3) outside of Rod, building power is good! Hel is very flexible with builds anyway, just depends on what the player is after. She can go full dmg, full support or bruiser :D That's the great thing about her!

absolutley not, i am ranked as one of the top 20 hel in the world and run hel as my #1 main god and ima tell you guys right now this guide is only half right. yes you will be switching back and forth between light and dark stance a lot however you will be in dark stance much MUCH more than light stance if you aren't sucking it up all game the ONLY reason you should be in light more than dark is if you lost your lane and need to support your carries to win the game for you cause 9 times out of 10 you should have the most kills and assists on your team with hel if you know what you're doing. DO NOT LEVEL YOUR 3 FIRST!!!! always always always level your 1 first as you should be getting a meditation cloak as your relic since you have a purification bead as a skill and should also have some amount of health and mana potions to start with, it goes 1,3,1,2,4 max your 1 first then max your 3 level your 4 when you can as it will increase your magic damage and max your 2 last, if you arent getting your 2 before level 5 you are absolutely playing hel wrong. if you look at the passive icon during a match you can see the other stance you arent ins cooldowns for the skills of that stance so taking advantage of the fact that you have 6 abilities at your disposal is something you absolutley need to become aware of, having complete awareness is crucial when playing hel of both the status of your enemies and your team members. personally i like to look at my team mates more as tools that im using, hel doesnt have a lot of escape side the small movement boost from her heal so watching your teams back to give them a heal and cc immune is important but be aware if you hit almost any god with her darks 2 then 1 then 3 then switch to light and hit them with the 1 again that this combo will be enough to kill most gods if not bring them within one or 2 auto attacks to death. my usual item build for hel in this order goes - mages blessing (obvious) Shoes of Magi (mag power and pen), rod of tahuti (mag power bonus dmg against low hp), spear of desolation (mag power, pen, and cdr), etheral staff (mag power and bonus against tanks/warriors), soul reaver (magic power and turns your 1 into a nuke equal to your 3), then sell mages blessing for staff of myrddin (mag power plus basicly gives you a 7th spell) then sell shoes if really late game buy potion of speed and buy an item relevant to the game usually ill put a support item in this slot like shield of regrowth which turns you and your team into sonic the hedgehog when you use your light stance 3. really hope anyone truely looking to main hel reads this and i hope it helps, don't play hel support either that's just stupid.

Inner demon hell if u don’t have it don’t play her okay so first of all this is gonna be long so sit down and pop corn 1- practice ur 1 or if u can’t hit it on ur allies tell them to stop moving or play hell with a comp 2- if ur playing he’ll ban Odin and Loki stuff dat can focus her, if u leave these gods open always get some extra health 3 - her passive is pretty effective so late game is where she excells so u should play for late 4 - her burst damage is insane and u should always buy alot of cooldown 5 - if ur leveling the 3 instead of the 1 is because I can’t hit the 1 consistent but if ur good at hitting it always lv the 1 instead because it’s 8 seconds 6 - try to drag the engages because ur a healer u fool and stop acting like a tank because ur not so stop being stupid 7 - always use ur 2 against high cc teams specially if there’s s Ares because the team will be toxic and blame u 8 - I hate when u do this don’t play support because ur kit is not that good to support and most situations because of the fact that ur the one that is going to get focused and die 9 - if ur mid lane buy wards everytime u back specially against pele that bitch cancer 10 - if ur against a fucking Zeus kill him is free Thx for reading now sub to me fools
