Up in that area were you were standing is a old water tower in the trees id love to see you video the old relicts that were used by the Pennsy to service thr steam engines. Its located between where you videoed and the old signal bridge. Plus see if there is any remaining items left from the coal digging that used to cut inbetween the curves behind where you were

Just wondering how you got over to that spot was there an access road for ns maintenance of way vehicles there.

With today's horsepower locomotives one would be real lucky if a train were to stall. A great chance would be with the older sd80macs and maybe the sd70's. But today's up to date locomotives not a chance, they grip those tracks like a man pulling himself up a rope.
