Bloody Well Right begins split-second after "School". Almost like a transition in 1 song. These songs are all connected. it is a concept album. - Singer is Rick Davies. Two main voices in Supertramp: In " School " it was mainly Roger Hodgson (the high emotional voice) Btw, if you follow the lyrics throughout the album, both singers/composers do some in-fighting here. This is obviously Davies' answer to Hodgson's School. The band is bound to split a few years later. But it proves again that two opposite creatives (egos) in a band is a perfect formula for quality (Lennon & McCartney, Gilmour & Waters, Davies & Hodgson, …)

Before the Pandemic I would hang out on my day off at a pool hall with a juke box and play some funky music - one day this 20something girl asked me what I was playing (I'm 60something), so I said, "Wild Cherry", "Average White Band", "Steely Dan", "Supertramp" and she started cracking up 'cuz she thought I was just making it up! When I heard 'steely-tramp' I sorta laughed the same way.

They are Anglo American band based in England. 2 singer songwriters are English Keys and Guitar. Drummer is from USA They definitely have US influence Great underrated band that had 3 or 4 great albums in the late 70's and early 80's. People have said they're an English Steely Dan. I say a little bit.

People used get a presupposed idea of what kind of music "Supertramp" played just based on the name. Guess what? They were wrong! This Band is so gifted as far as musicianship, and also lyrically, they are so good. Rodger Hodgson is wonderful as well. I was 18 back in the early 1970s when these guys came to Seattle, and what a concert it was. Such memories guys, as I'm turning 65 in about a month. This Classic Rock era music keeps us young. God Bless

I can’t wait to see your reactions to the rest of the album. This particular song is probably my least favorite even though it was the only hit from the album. Maybe because it was so overplayed, I don’t know. It’s not that I don’t like it, but the rest of the album is just so tasty.
