Love your car! I feel like there are still something you could do, just thoughts :) 1. Since you already have front mount i/t cooler, I think better to resource a impreza rs hood without hood scoop and put hood vent on there for better aero and cooling 2. Maybe put a cockpit vent on the roof? 3. I wonder if there is any WRC front hood lamp mount replica on sale? It will look so good on your car 4. Since you mention you will get full cage in your car, so I think the everything will be tore apart interior, so I think it is better to get rid of the front/rear strut tower brace and welding the cage tube to there to reinforce them and save weight 5. Fully cover your underneath to reduce aero turbulence and make more down force

Sick build man all the answers I’ve been searching for! Started to think I’d made a mistake with The ej20g. Are you using mostly usdm ej205 parts?
@Supertuner5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! The ej20g block halfs are stout! I am using ej205 head cores. all other parts internally are aftermarket through out the long block.
@andyreilly71085 жыл бұрын
Supertuner the 20g has some big fans and some big haters! I just got a version 1 STI and at first I wasn’t seeing a ton of aftermarket support I guess it just takes a little bit of ingenuity! So you’re running just regular 205 heads? No port/polish? Obviously internals then big turbo in terms of what I should do first but which modification did you see the most gain from? I’ve already got the Link g4 ecu so I’m excited to get into this build. My wallet not so much 😂
@Supertuner5 жыл бұрын
Rad that you have the link! Standalone sand good tuning will be key! No pnp just built heads. 272 cams, valves, springs etc. For the most part engine internals are not noticeable mods but slow you to safely make more power with bigger turbo and more fuel.

Where did you get this style fmic that mounts up high like that? And if it's not too much to ask how exactly does one go about switching to map from maf?
@Supertuner4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Great questions. I built the intercooler kit so it’s not something you can buy as a kit. To switch to map tuning you need to upgrade your MAP sensor and wire in a IAT sensor and then you need a custom tune to run it.
@ryanbickel16204 жыл бұрын
Awesome thanks for the response man love the build and the channel keep up the good work. One more question though sorry, is the intercooler just like any other fmic youd find you just mounted it up higher?
@Supertuner4 жыл бұрын
No problem, The intercooler core it’s self is a universal core that is meant to be used when you fabricate you’re own Kit. So I just built the mounting brackets piping and everything else to make it fit and work. The core is smaller, a full size front mount wouldn’t fit up high.

obviously tell you don't live where I live where it's hot ass not and you need AC but you could have done just electric AC motor
@Supertuner4 жыл бұрын

What about doing that electric motor for your AC without a pulley
@Supertuner4 жыл бұрын
The motor is only part of the problem with the current setup. There is no where for the ac core because of where I have the intercooler placed.
