rockys201 Batman's villains are either too weak to fight him or too strong for him to fight. There's rarely any in betweens. Most of his villains are too weak for Batman: Joker, Riddler, Two-Face, Penguin, Calendar Man The others that are two strong for him are Croc, Freeze and Poison Ivy to an extent. Bane and Ras al Ghul are the only villains to my knowledge that can give Batman a true fight. Let's be honest, Most of Spidey's villains would murder Batman in a one-on-one unprepared fight.

The joker started off as a serial killer , but the Green Goblin was more of grotesque-costumed gangster. Even to this day , Norman Osborn is still more "down-to-earth" in his goals than the Joker.

That tied in with the fact that the Goblin is Norman's evil side made into an entire split personality that he talks to on occasion. Made through the creation of a fornula in a laboratory. The Goblin is the Hyde to Norman's Jekyl. It just seems to me that he based him on Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde. Which I absolutely love.

Norman Osborne was the original Green Goblins. He died and his son, Harry Osborne took up the Green Goblin. Harry, an alcoholic and drug addict meshed better with the super soldier formula than did his father, but the drugs and alcohol amplified the psychosis side-effects of the drugs, and ended up putting too much strain on his heart after a climactic battle with spider man, and after saving MJ in a fire. Harry Osborne is dead, unless he's come back from the dead again. Movies be damned, the comics are canon.

Aquin Overused doesn't make him bad, it just make the character boring. The whole thing with Joker is that he's crazy, psychotic, and unpredictable... and its just gotten old to the point where Joker is treated like the only Batman villain. I would appreciate a Batman story with Mr. Freeze, Two-face, Black Mask, Killer Croc, Scarface and the Ventriloquist, and the like, rather than "Joker is up to his old tricks at being crazy and psychotic". So yes, between Joker and Green Goblin, I think Green Goblin has more depth, in being a threat to Spider-Man and Peter Parker either through Harry as Norman, or as Harry..

Both characters are great. But i really like the Joker a lot more. Yeah, its overused just like Spiderman and Batman. The names of these characters has turned into synonymous of good quality stories so it seems that the comic book writers just make comics around them. But the overuse of a character make more people to know them even if the story is boring or bad. Maybe some kid is watching "The Dark Knight" and saying "Hey, i will be a comic book writer someday!" and boom, next Alan Moore, next "Killing Joke". You know, i preffer to read single comic books or series that are done already done so i don't buy "Detective Comics" or anything like that.

Look up what the original design was. They tried, but Willem Dafoe (actor who played him) said the suit was way too uncomfortable to wear. So, they went with what we all know they used. The plot in these series would be a lot better than the one in all the movies which lead to Gwen Stacy's demise and Green Goblin's representation. However, producers, directors and writers always have to make a separate version every time.

I dont like the fact that in the amazing spiderman 2 harry started off as the green goblin. It is not original why does marvel movies switch shit up? These kids in this generation should be followed up on what happened in the comics. Smh. It was a great movie just the fact that norman is suppose to be the green goblin.

I just notice something. Goblin doesn’t want to rule the world or robbed a bank, or other villain things. He just wants to kill Spider-Man. Since the first time he showed up, he’s done nothing but try to kill the web slinger, and that was Peter’s first year as a superhero after the avengers showed up. He could’ve killed them for being old and well known, but why Spider-Man of all heroes. Usually when villains want to kill Spider-Man it’s normally for stopping a robbery or an thwarting an evil plan.
