@@AOT_HxH95 What I love about villains is that oftentimes their views and reasons for doing things are very similar to the very heroes that try to stop them, only they go about achieving their goals in a very selfish, immoral manner. That is even more apparent with Jedi and Sith, when you realize both sides' teachings have equally good and awful parts. (Sith embracing anger and hate but also freedom, Jedi calmness and discipline but usually to the point of forsaking love and family, leading empty lives.)

@@midnightworldASMR Exactly. In the old Expanded Universe (pre Disney) when Luke Skywalker rebuilt the Jedi Order he fixed the problems of the old order like allowing members to have families.

There were Sith that transcended their Order's destructive nature. The greatest of these were Darth Marr. He even allied with Satele Shan, Grandmaster of the Jedi and became a blue force ghost upon death.
