Hey, I need ur opinion how i can show an LULC of an area where coal mine exist. Actually i was doing an LULC of Umaria distrcit of Madhya Pradesh, where a coal mine exist. So, i don't know how to distinguish coal mine pixel with rest of other. If u have any suggestion please help.

If the mine is open cast then it basically looks black. You have to remember there are also other rocks present in mining area. Check the spectral signature of different coal mine. Then you can easily understood. But if it is underground then remote sensing technology can't help you.
