But buying a yacht is only the beginning expense Even for wealthy people is the operating costs plus depreciation what can put a dent in their bank accounts. Crew cost = Minimum 11 crew members for this yacht. These crew members are contracted all year-round (This yacht is a complex, floating machine that requires very experienced crew who would be very familiar with the vessel, its standard operating procedures, abnormal and emergency procedures) - Senior captain (Captains cost roughly $1,000 per year per foot of boat) that is about $170,000 a year (remember this yacht is 172 feet long). - The 1st mate (preferably an engineer for another $90,000 to $130,000 because the complex mechanical systems are beyond the skills of a mere crewman. - The chief steward is $70,000 USD, - a good chef costs at least $70,000 a year. Eight additional crew members are required upon request (deckhand, stewardesses) That's $4,000 USD a month times 8 crew members for guest servicing and keeping the yacht immaculate. That's $32,000 a month. Add to this the recruitment fees, repatriation costs for off-signing crew and insurance costs, crew medical, crew per diem and travel expenses, crew food while on board, and the amount rises quickly, especially if crew turnover is high. Crew annual wage bill would be over one million euros (1.3 Million USD.) Another costs: vessel purchase taxes (5%= $1,800,000 USD), docking (about $60,000 a year), yacht title registration, Crew Liability Insurance, salary related taxes, miscellaneous maintenance/repairs/rebuild (interior, Bow Thrusters, Stern Thruster, Anchor Stabilizers, Active Roll Stabilization, ), fuel (55000 liters= $50,000 USD per tank) /oil, water, Wireless Internet Card, Satellite TV, Satellite Data Link). Now your expenses food, beverage, commuting, and if you are a womanizer it'll cost you more than the yacht itself. Cost of toys and their replacement. extra boat or dingy, sea bobs, wave runners, Depreciation: A rule of thumb is to expect 10% depreciation in year one and 6-8% for the following four or five years. It’s important to note that most yacht owners keep their vessels for 3-4 years. Major machinery will often require major repairs in years 5-7. Allocate (10%) 3.6 million dollars a year to operate this yacht which does not cover eventualities (major repairs, accidents, etc) or depreciation.

Your vlog is all over the place. Didn't have any shots of the interior that were worth looking at. Which is a shame.next time slow down don't worry about putting in the awesome music and trying to get the best drone shot. All that stuff is overrated. Use that stuffas a bonus to enhance your vlog but first you have to build the foundation of 1. I am genuinely upset that you could have done so much better. And you look young and like you take care of yourself. Sorry for the rant dudeI just feel like you can really make something out of this if you want to. End of rant LOL
