No. The 1396P is too slow and lifty for these size waves.

​@@SportalcentroFor small slow waves it should be ok. Cruising speed on the 1396P is around 9 to 10 knots depending on rider weight. So waves at those speeds should be good.

Hi Gunnar. Are based out of Corralejo? Could you recommend a surfcamp or house to stay close to the beach where people are friendly, I can bring my own gear and stay for a week and other people are into winging and foiling too?? I searched online, but all descriptions are vague and I just want to hang out and wingfoil with friendly people.

Hi Martin, Yes. I am based in Corralejo. There are a few surfcamps and beachhouses/hostels around. I cannot guarantee that people are friendly though as that depends on the guests currently staying there. Flag Beach has a few apartments and hostels. The Sol y Mar is walking distance to the Waikiki Spot. flagbeach.com/accommodation/. Line-Up also offeres decent surf houses in Corralejo. At the spots most guys are friendly (like in any scene there are a mix of personalities) and will be happy to give out information and will help out if you need anything. I hope that helps.
