same, I remember reading about the ssc ultimate aero in 2nd grade and I always used ot visit their website hoping for updates and one day i saw the tuatara, then in one of jay leno's videos I saw it in the background on the pebble beach concept lawn with the urus and other cars that now have real road legal final versions. That was more than 10 years ago and now these are finally seeing the light of day.

Best looking hypercar hands down. U can see those Pininfarina design cues . Actually , this gorgeus art piece of a car could very well be considered the production version of the also astonishingly beautiful Maserati Birdcage 75th. What connects these 2 cars, the Maserati concept and the mighty Tuatara is one name, Jason Castriota. What a masterpiece of design he created, and Jerod brought it to life . Forget about Pagani , Koenigsegg and the rest. This is the ultimate hypercar, and not just in terms of design .

This is not a review, and also did not get to drive it. This is because the company does not deliver real cars and therefore they dont like inquisitive questions. Like who actually built the car, like whether or not its legal. Does it have airbags and legal VIN / Chassis numbers... That sort of questions. Its the 100% exact same as Hennessey F5. SSC spoiled their name and got a lot of flak needlessly faking that top speed attempt and then lying more ridiculous stuff to try and cover it up. Needlessly because the Tuatara actually has the HP and the best power to weight of all the megacars and can indeed do a lot better which does mostly atone for that stunt. It's got design, it's got looks, it's a wild animal with serious personality and character and it has the coolest exhaust that can be color matched to the exterior in the metal alloy. No one, not even Pagani, does that. A lot of thought has gone into it - like the glass in the split A Pillar or even small things like where they put the fire extinguisher. Jerod is actually on whole other level above Hennessey, he's where Koenigsegg was last decade, and he's nailed the build quality.

It said turned down to 1450 hp and hit 295 mph in 2.3 mile now what about full power 1750 hp in 10 mile straight line with new Michelin tire from jesko in 2025 with new tire can handle 300 mph. Which cup 2 Michelin aren’t rated 300 mph safety compare to new Michelin come in very soon for jesko so ssc can buy tires from same as jesko so ssc will easily over 310+ mph no issues and remove mirrors. Even ssc twin turbo is low 20 range psi can make 1750 so if use 40 psi easy 2400 hp and will accelerate to 310 in NO TIME!

I don't like the slow gear shifts. Not only does it make it slower but also breaks momentum more and causes the rear wheels to slip more and unsettles the car more when it gets back on power due to the greater momentum shifts. Otherwise it's a masterpiece!

Jason Castriota was also just an Italian / American intern design student at Pininfarina and got to work on a couple of Ferraris. He was NOT "Ferraris designer" at any point in time. But, obviously having worked at Pininfarina made him a hero when he returned back to the US. However he has not worked on this since 2010. A company called Podium Advanced Technologies in Turin Italy made this car. They are a LeMans racing company. So Im sure its a good car. But its about as "American" as socialised healthcare. Then the cars are shipped to the US in ready-built components in wooden crates, and a couple of amateurs put them together in a rented warehouse and sell them as "all-american hypercars" with fake hype and wild claims. Which is why you dont hear much about this car amongst professionals that buy real supercars / hypercars. This is also not road legal except with kit-car plates.

Someone been copyin Christian Von Koeniseggs paper! Its obviously a "carbon" copy of an Agera...thats why nobody pays attention to it. Plus the bad rep of cheating on the High Speed Record...they're shady ASF. He said you can fit a few grocery bags...this guy.🤨

The design came out in 2011. 295mph is not a lie. it was verified by racelogic VBOX. Do you not see the front and rear overhand differences? the Y-zero section is one line from the front overhang to the rear where the glass canopy touches down on top of the engine compartment.

The people running ssc do the most weird things. The car looks good and high quality but they give it to some unknown kid to review instead of the big car channels. Even the CEO lying about the top speed like why? People will still like it regardless...just weird
