I still don't get the difference between "supply" and "quantity supplied". I don't why see why "supply" doesn't incorporate every possible "quantity supplied". Even on the second graph, "s" never changed without a corresponding change in "q". In fact, why can't you have "supply" along one axis, and "demand" along another, with "price" being a curve, representing the product of all values for "s" and "d"?

this is so confusing! because if the price to make a gas station decreases the SUPPLY increases. (well that's because the gas station is not the good the gas is.) But if the price to make gas increases then the SUPPLY decreases. (well in this example the quantity supplied AND the overall supply is affected because the cost of refinery has also increased SO, this is an increase in SUPPLY. ) Right? oh boy ;-; help me

You are talking about resources.I am answering according to your question...if the price is high for making gas station that means resources are less available or your capital is insufficient.so your gas production rate will low.as ur gas production low, your supply will be low. It is another point. You were not in track. Your question was related to supply factors
