thanks for your exertion and time. I have a question, in the "a tax on buyers" part, how does tax decrease the price of smth? I mean, in my life I always know that tax is the thing that increases the price of goods before buyers get them

Decreases demand so the MARKET price is lower. However, with a tax the market price no longer prevails. There’s then a price tag (market value), a price buyers pay (higher end of the new tax wedge), and a price sellers get (lower end of the tax wedge).
