The analogy you used with foundations was genius. It really helped the message stick by treating your base as a home that needs to be protected. it really shifted my mindset towards warding and now I can see the ways high-elo players ward to protect certain areas. Going to keep these tips in mind from now on and start to experiment with good ward spots. It's a shame that these kinds of videos always seem to have less views than their sexy "MAIN _______ TO INSTANTLY CLIMB" counterparts, I feel like I should have paid for this kind of lesson lol.

Smaller creators with high effort educational content are gems and deserve our support. My coach recommended Cupcake to me. I suggest you check out Bonks on KZbin as well. He's a EUW mid main but teaches game concepts for all roles.

Thanks for not using clickbait and producing a well-made teaching video. This type of content is lacking.

Now, I been searching for someone that can teach these concepts, and I definitely found him! Really nice of you to help others and me to understand better the complexity of the game! Good work 😉

Towards the end when you explained the shifting of your base and first floors was mad helpful in viewing the map. For me as a bad habit I sometimes view my jungle as safe even though it realistically isn’t me I end up wandering on vision trying to get deeper vision & they rotate

Map states and vision control can be very fluid. Glad it helped!

@@CoachCupcake Thank you! ^^ If you have time, could you talk a little bit about levels and when the best time to roam for each champion is? I roamed yesterday at level 4 and got flash killed by the level 6 midlaner - my mistake, but afterward their support hit 6 way before me and we just lost bot after that. A big problem I have is balancing roaming and laning so that I don't fall too far behind. And if you and your adc are stomping botlane, is it better to stay and push your lead? I guess it depends on the kill threat of the enemy team?
@CoachCupcake2 жыл бұрын
@@lilsiie This is hard to address over message. But you should prioritize pressuring over soaking EXP. If you're not achieving anything with your roams, maybe you will fall behind in EXP (and your ADC will be ahead). And yes if you are stomping lane, you can continue to do so. As long as you're achieving something by being bot. You can also translate your pressure to mid/herald. Always have a plan. If you want better personalized feedback, I'd encourage checking out my coaching options in the description.

Great video! At 11 minutes, what would have you done if you were spotted by a ward in top side bush/tri bush? Ran immediately bot to cover a bot dive, or commit to a Rift play, or something else?

Do you recommend this type of mentality/way of playing in lower elos? I often see myself roaming, and my adc ends up dead under tower, am I the one at fault, or is the adc? Anyways, I always feel like I need to literally ''babysit'' my adc, otherwise I get flammed or he dies, so I was trying to get your insight on ''lower elo way of playing'' I guess, thanks, and great videos!

I only end up roaming when my adc goes back to base and im high on hp and mana and not sitting on gold. I avoid roaming when they're in lane because in iron and bronze elo they end up suiciding without me lol
@CoachCupcake Жыл бұрын
Yeah I would encourage focusing on wave states and laning in low elo first and foremost. It's not necessary to excel at roaming to climb out of those elos
