My first song of Dimash was about 6 months ago, sos from the singer, which I have no idea how I came across because I was looking for ice dancing videos. I love him on the singer show, so young, and so sweet, I have watched all the backstage stuff too. I love that original SOS more than his newer versions, it will always be special. Technically he might sing the latest better but the softer, emotions of the singer version, are more heart piercing to me, more vulnerable and suited the younger age. I also love Autumn strong, from the singer and daybreak of course. The song that has surprised me by becoming one of my favourites because I didn’t really like it at first is “Know” both Versions with probably the vocalise just coming in front a tiny bit The original “love is like a dream” in the velvet suit is also right up at the top. The new wave version he sung the beautiful section that really made me almost swoon, in a different register so it didn’t have the same effect on me. The velvet suit one was just perfect the way it was. I also will take a while to adjust my ears to his new version of “screaming” because I am so used to the original that my brain is rebelling at the changes. I also absolutely love “oceans over time” “the meaning of eternity” and “thousand miles a common dream” that get overlooked by so many people.
