Now in 2021 she won again the Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG for her version of Margaret Thatcher in ''The Crown''. Totally deserved. She's one of the best actresses of her generation and a class act! From Dana Scully in ''The X-Files'', Stella Gibson in ''The Fall'', Jean Milburn in ''Sex Education'', Bedelia Du Maurier in ''Hannibal'', Goddess Media in ''American Gods'', Margaret Thatcher in ''The Crown'' and of course in theatre as Blanche DuBois on the 2014-2016 stage production of the classic ''A Streetcar Named Desire'' which earned her the Evening Standard Best Theatre Actress award, she always delivers amazing performances. Her portrayal... no channeling of Margaret Thatcher was one of the most amazing performances I've seen on TV in a really long time. I was floored and speechless by her transformation. I don't remember a show where I had to rewind numerous times just to watch one person's performance because it was so mind blowing. That's all people talked about when the season dropped. LOVE Gillian so much. She was also amazing in Hannibal.
