I think citadel match was actually a good showcase, just because you try to play support doesn't mean you can't pop off. If you can play well enough in the defensive style and the enemies start thirsting for you then that's great because you met the goal of creating openings for teammates!

There's an argument to be made for ember of benevolence dawnblade with boots of the assembler and lumina. Free noble rounds and insane uptime on all your abilities.

i do something similar when i get a map that has particularly egregious spawn disparity: put on a strong defensive loadout and fight tooth and nail to hold the good spawn. sometimes i have boring games where my teammates spawncamp for ten minutes and i don't see any action, and sometimes i have games where i'm the only soldier holding out against a mindless horde of shotgun apes. but even if i'm not slaying out i'm at least contributing and that's not nothing.

I would use stasis cause you make it look fun to use, problem is unlocking all the abilities looks super time consuming.

Just a heads up especially for the new lights, the Exo Stranger got updated to be the 3.0 vendor for stasis, just like Ikora. As soon as you get your subclass at the end of beyond light campaign, which will take about 3-4 hours per character, you can just talk to her and buy all your aspects/framents for glimmer. You no longer have to do the quest to unlock anything, you can buy all of it immediately. Another thing, fragments aren't shared between classes on the light or strand subclasses, but they are on stasis. Be warned that the vendor doesn't respect this, so it'll let you buy fragments on your other classes even when you've already unlocked them on one. So just remember to buy all your fragments on 1 character. Hope this helps!

Playing pvp in Destiny 2 is like trying to skate up an icy hill . Either you mercy the enemy team or they mercy you . If you do get a match where most of the players aren't lag switching , using Cronus zen or xim, or hacking your damn lucky . Their is no lobby balancing period.
