I LOVE CAT tarot decks. I seems to resonate with cat tarot decks. I haven't tried an animal deck besides cats yet. I have the cat tarot de marseille in my amazon wish list. i am hoping to buy it next month and start working with Marseille decks by spring. i also want to try Lenormand decks as well.

I saw the walk-through of this deck on The Hermit's Cave, and so came over to check out your review. I'm definitely going to get that Cat Marseille deck. I'm also going to get that book. I want to learn Marseille, and that looks like a really book. Both are now in my Amazon cart. :-)

Ahh that death card in the Marseille Cat is adorable! Untold Tarot is on its way to me as I type. Caitlin Matthews’ Complete Lenormand Oracle book is really good, IMO

I saw your "say yes to the deck" ep. 1 and was looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Cat deck! Interesting how you ended up thinking the opposite with the RWS nods going on! But SO cute...that smile on the Grim Reaper lol Oh... one ask of you...when you show cards, can you pause for just a second or two longer before switching to the next one? Right when the camera focuses and then I get to focus, then you move on to the next card, and I wish I had another second to take it in. I know, I know,...I can pause..., but I like hearing what you have to say about the card at the same time. :-) I'll look forward to your walkthrough of it though! That Tarot de Maria looks great! And a tin! CUTE! I have the Italian Tarot, which reminds me of my Italian Nona's Scopa cards. Good memories playing with her when I was a child. We couldn't talk to each other, but we could play cards!! Can't wait to hear/see next week. Thanks Lisa! You looked fab today. Loved your necklace. Looks darker like Red Jasper?

Yessss I noticed that I was pretty hyper in this video and didn't give enough time for the cards too - that's great feedback, thank you! That's so sweet about your Nona! The pendant I'm wearing is Cherry Quartz - I unboxed it in my last Witches Bounty live unboxing!

I recently got a copy of the OOP Celtic Wisdom Tarot by Caitlin Matthews and it's sooooo beautiful and special - it just resonates so deeply. The art by Olivia Rayner is stunning as well but I just can't get over the connection I have to this deck so I would love to read more by Caitlin Matthews! xx

I have mixed feelings about the wild unknown archetypes deck, I prefer not to use the book as the messages are as mixed as the images in the cards. I will use this deck only using my intuition and using the imagery of the cards to dig into any thought, idea, feeling, or memory in my heart and overall experiences to spark any sort of interpretations. This deck should be used freely and let yourself go. Pros: Kudos for the artist in getting her "art" across within a beautifully presented and delightfully packaged deck. Cons: As with any contemporary art, is always open to interpretation and not focused on anything in particular. Conceptual art is a shameful perversion of the concept of creativity and freedom. The corruption of art and that the only thing that sustains it is money, because the day it falls, hundreds of art collections, that is, millions of dollars in works, will become nothing, in a painful anecdote of a decadent society. I feel that lately, artists are recurring to creating oracles, decks, and tarot decks to sell and expose their art (easy $$$$). That's all. The relation of the cards to the archetypes can be relative, allow yourself room to *not* agree with Krans’ definitions while still appreciating the mixture of messages. In my opinion, the deck is a mixture of visuals, meanings, phrases, words, and ideas. Another use of these cards as well as using your intuition is to display them around your house so as to cause confusion and see the reactions of your visitors. Also, these cards make really great glass coasters!
