I enjoyed digging into the court cards in the Wildwood too. The guidebook entries are really good. ❤

I used the Yultide Tarot along with Seasons of the Witch the last 3 weeks of December...what a wonderful pairing. ❤😊

I don't have the sotw yule deck, so I switch from samhain to imbolc right after Thanksgiving. I really love those decks for just a clarifier or trying to find a focus that day.

Koriko was on my xmas list from the last time that you mentioned it!! Love Kiki!!

I didn't start on Koriko last year like I had wanted. Hopefully I'll get to it this year because it seems like fun, and I'm all about Studio Ghibli!

I discovered solo RPGs thanks to you, and the monthly roundup where you talked about 1000 Year Old Vampire. I immediately purchased that game (like literally paused the video to click buy 😂) and played several times over this past autumn. In searching for similar games, I came across Koriko, which I actually started playing in December like you! It's so sweet and cozy...I'm loving it (especially after the super intense gameplay of 1000 YOV!).

Did you see the "So I Met a 1,000 Year Old Vampire"? That came out on Kickstarter earlier? I backed so fast! How long do you think it took you to play through TYOV?
@LCtheCurious2 күн бұрын
I did see it, and I backed it as well! 😊 My first play-through was disappointingly quick because I ended up rolling a series of high numbers; I think I finished that first game in less than a week, just by journaling one scenario/prompt each evening. I felt like I had missed out on a lot of the game's possibilities, so I started a second game right away which did end up lasting longer. My third and final game was somewhere in the middle, time-wise. I'm glad I played several times because the different prompts really did add a lot to the game. All three games were pretty intense, just as far as the themes that came up for me. It was great, but I'm happy to be playing something a little less "heavy" now. How long did it take for you? Did you play more than once?

I just started Koriko this month too! My character is Opal and she has pink hair and a cat familiar haha. I'm also using the same deck for it!

@Lisa_Papez will she have some in her Shop? I don't work with dice, but I just imagine they would be great to keep crystals or jewelry inside. Just Yesterday I assigned my Peggy made ladybug bag to keep my newly arrived rhythm and soul Tarot 🐞🥰 Greetings to you both 😘🙋🏻♀️

Yes, Koriko is on my wishlist for sure. I'm currently playing Apothecaria by Anna Blackwell, also a huge recommendation for a good solo journaling RPG. ❤ thank you for sharing all of this

I love my Seasons of the Witch. I've pre-ordered the Ostara deck. Have you seen anything about the 8th deck in the series? It looks wonderful.

I haven't, yet, but I'll definitely purchase it once it's out!

I like your mat, the colours are so nice to the eyes! I'm low-key admiring how many practices you can keep going in a month, I've done monthly challenges and even then sometimes I have to catch up cause I slacked for a few days - December was bad cause of the holidays 😅. The decks I used were either green or white mainly cause I don't have a Christmas or winter themed deck. The dice casting has intrigued me, I probably shouldn't add to the list of things I'd like to learn about but.... I mean, it's dice! 😂 Thank you for the video! 😊

Hehehe the dice casting has really integrated so beautifully into my practice!!

I love seeing so many different decks and how you pair them each month for different practices/spreads. The season of the witch decks are so beautiful, but I hesitate to buy one because I know that I’ll probably want to buy them all, and I’m not sure if I want that many Oracle decks lol
@Lisa_PapezКүн бұрын
Hehe that's valid. I'm like that, too. I would keep that on pause - I know they want to do a SOTW Tarot and maybe we'll see a future deck in the series that blends all the seasons? Who knows! :D

I believe you mentioned Koriko previously and I got it lol. I bought the 2 sets of dice and put a journal and tarot deck aside for it… I have not done anything with it yet. Im a mess. Also, I added Dreamgate to my night time deck last month when you mentioned it and it’s been working out so well for my ancestor journey.

Also, I wish I was having a better time with the wildwood tarot. Maybe it’s not my time with it.

Aw yah - it definitely is not an easy deck to bond with. I'm having a great time but this is also my THIRD time trying ;)

I've been drawn to the seasons of the witch oracle cards, but hadn't invested in them because I have so many other Oracle decks and I didn't know when I would use them. However, using them daily at night before bed is such an amazing idea! I have been wanting to lean more into the natural cycles of nature, and have been slowly learning. Because of trauma, Christmas has no appeal, but Yule did. After I saw your review on the Yuletide tarot, I bought it, and I'm still using it. (I currently use it with my Earth Magic Oracle deck, though I love the deck you are using, also) I loved your envelope idea, and since I plan to use them yearly, I spent a lot of time creating envelopes for the months, the moons, and the Wheel of the Year days, and am excited about having them to help me to become more aware of my connection to the Earth, and more intentional in my practice.

I had to pause mid-video to comment. I've also been using the Dreamgate Oracle as my nighttime deck, and loving it. Last night, I dreamed of you. You were teaching me to read tarot. Then, I came here to watch this video, and you're talking about the Dreamgate Oracle. Cool, huh? OK, back to the rest of the video.

The journal looks like a stalogy and the cover is Moterm. Journaling is my special interest (along with tarot). Love the idea of the mega Buffy card. I should do this with the Diablo Tarot since those cards are so big and a fandom I love.
