I love the way you dance, it touches the heart and you presence is so strong and made me follow you from second 1 to the last second. Your way of dancing is wonderful and I like the modern dance style that makes everything so alive and beautiful to watch

Sublime musicality. Such a tender and measured performance. Perfectly timed with her accompanying music.

Wow. I watched this with tears in my eyes. Such beautiful expression through movement. The mind asks "how does she know?" The soul replies "we're all dancing the same dance deep down" Thank you so much for sharing ❤

Imagine all the training, repetitions, hard work and passion that was needed to make this mesmerizing performance happen and just when you finally delivered it to the public with all your heart in it, there comes this guy and says "Now is 125 ..." I just want to say, thank you for this performance

I understand what you are saying. But this is the world’s most serious dance competition. Pretty much considered the Olympics of dance. It is invitational and there are no viewers other than a panel of the most lauded professional leaders in dance from around the globe. These dancers understand that they are understand that they are under competition conditions and have spent a week already having competition classes to reach this point to be invited to perform solos in front of the judges. They are aware that there is a strict schedule. As pre-professional dancers they have been working to strict schedules and most probably attending competitions for years. They very much understand that the next dancer will be announced to the judges immediately after their performance. It takes nothing away from their phenomenal talent and exquisite performance. When engaging with the dancers the judges treat them with the highest regard.

Félicitations pour l'obtention du prix de danse de Lausanne. C'est une belle et correcte prestation à valorer pour être une coreoographie compliquée et pas facile.

so I always look through comments on things I know nothing about to see if there is anything insightful. Something beyond cursory statements like, "[this art], it's so artistic!" Question: This is about depression/anxiety, right? Butterflies in her stomach in the beginning and how she shakes it out. Crestfallen. The monster that rears its head. The inspiration found in quotidian motion. The fluid movement and the stunted leap near the end and finished by that defeated pose. I'm just trying to learn some art appreciation here 😮💨 am I understanding this correctly? I feel like there is an intended purpose beyond looking nice, moving to the music, and showing technical skills.

I tend to think the meaning, in the end, rests in the heart and mind of the witness. I know it’s cliche but it’s in what we each bring to it. But I saw precisely what you did, and I drew the same meaning. So I think there was something real there that the choreographer was trying to convey and you connected to it. As did I. Beautiful and stirring piece. Gorgeous dancer and artist. Even the heartbreaking moments can show us their beauty. Bravo.

Yes I believe that is what it is about. The rifts and tides in emotions tied in with the violin is definitely symbolic of what you are talking about.
