If you watched our video on Building Soil Structure, you’ll know that plant roots release sugars and carbohydrates that beneficial microorganisms consume. Well, the stems, leaves, and fruits of plants release those sweet “exudates” too! Beneficial microorganisms will congregate densely on plant surfaces for easy access to this food source -- meanwhile, they out-compete, crowd out, and deter disease-causing organisms.

Excellent video.. thank you for this. Simple language to be able to tell everyone about this phenomena. I once heard about using the microbes that degrade a bug as a natural “pesticide” I don’t know the entire science but could y’all make a video about this topic? I think they were kind of training the microbe to want to find the pest insect and it would do that , maybe.
