The problem with the low-flow cans, is they are never as quiet. Of course, everything is a compromise, but for my money, I only opt to pay for suppressors that have a return on the investment of money and time. (I want the gun/caliber to be as quiet as possible) It is very easy to get a .22lr to be near-movie quiet, but anything above that is a struggle. I have found satisfactory results hushing up a .380, a 9mm with 147g and heavier, most .45 guns, .38 lever guns and .300blk. I only have about 4 cans now, and should have a couple more by years-end if all goes well. I do have a CGS Hyperion which works well with .308, but anything that delivers that supersonic crack just seems to drain the joy-factor away for me. As such, I mainly stick with .22lr, .380acp and a .38spl lever gun.

Although the primary 3 mods mentioned for the hosts on litigating with suppressor's back pressures work and are doable, I think the future of suppressors are with LBP designs do to their simplicity.

Just ordered the B&T Print X SRBS 762. There are very few reviews on it as of right now hopefully its as good as everyone has been saying. Its going to be my work around with my 223/556 (Bren 2 & Aug) and 7.62x39 (Galil Gen2) guns that don't have an out of the box suppressor setting.

Just got my 2nd suppressor ever and 2nd for this year as well. After I received my first suppressor, I read somewhere that there is a requirement to notify your local Sherriff's department that you have a new NFA item? I tried researching this to confirm and I found a mixture of information that some Sherriff's won't even take a letter or whatever that you submit reporting that. I wasn't able to find any definitive information on this. I would hope that if this was a legal requirement that there would be wide-spread talk about this but I've never heard it mentioned in any YT video when talking about the process for obtaining a Suppressor or registering any other NFA item. Can someone elaborate on this?

When you do your form 4 for the suppressor part of it is the Leo notification who ever you are buying the suppressor from takes care of that.Once you get your suppressor you are good to go.

Any advice for a first suppressor? I’d like a K can but I’d be interested in a shorter multi cal can. I really don’t want more than 1. I only shoot 5.56 and 9mm. Maybe a 300blk someday.

I went with the rugged radiant 762. It's an excellent can from my experience with being able to configure it to a shorter can. The only downside for the radiant 762 is the proprietary mounting system and with it being made from titanium it does have a tendency to shoot sparks until you give it some carbon build up.
