The Silencer Shop kiosk is how I got my can. It made what seemed like an intimidating process super easy. One recommendation I have is bring some hand lotion so the scanner picks up your finger prints easier. Good video 👍

We usually have people use wet wipes for them to read easier. It’s better than trying to wipe off lotiony prints off the screen.

Used this and was super easy. July my stamp was cashed, and just yesterday I picked up my form 4 trust suppressor. Literally took 4.5 monthes

My local shop doesn’t have one of these and it took about a week of back and forth emails, 2 trips to the sheriff’s office for fingerprint cards, and another morning of going to the shop to fill out paperwork and paying for the silencer. Next time I’m definitely going to a place with a kiosk.

This was so easy. It’s bullshit and unconstitutional.... at least it’s easy. I bought my first two cans a week ago on a local kiosk. One form 4 is ready. The other silencer is still on backorder. The wait is going to hurt, but the timer is running. Buy the ticket, take the ride. 🤘

Ya I lucked out. I sent another f4 out Aug 30th for a deadair wolfman so we will see how fast it comes back. But the kiosk is far easier and faster then trying to keep all the papers, photos, and check straight. I will use it next time for sure. Thanks for the content man I enjoy every video!

What about paperwork you have to hand deliver to your local , in my case sheriff for approval. Printing has to be done by enforcement officer, can be done at shop by appt. by off duty officer. So many states and counties with different rules.

I’m not sure what jurisdiction would require hand delivery, but SilencerShop mails the CLEO copy to your local CLEO.

Time frame fluctuates constantly so that’s going to depend on when you file. The tax stamp is $200, $205 through SilencerShop

The instructions for the single shot trust on Silencer Shop's website are a little confusing. So, you're saying I don't need to have a beneficiary or a second trustee (or whatever) standing there with me to enter their data when I do the kiosk for *my* S.S.T.? Because I definitely got the impression from their site that I did. Or at least that it was a good idea.

If you order a silencer from a 3rd party, you can still have your shop attach it to a SilencerShop account. Just be aware there can be some pretty hefty transfer fees associated with the transfer of an NFA item. I’d recommend speaking with the specific shop you want it transferred through

You'd have to get it sent to one of their authorized dealers, that's what I did. I brought a suppressor from a different site and used an FFL to have it sent to that's a authorized silencer shop dealer with a Kiosk inside.

What if I want to buy a Can from another line that silencer shop doesn't carry? Do I just buy it online and select my FFL to transfer it to with the kiosk? I have the single shot unlimited. I want a specific Can but want to use this process.

You should be able to have it sent to your local dealer and they can add that suppressor to your SilencerShop account. They may charge higher transfer fees though. For example, my store charges a $75 transfer fee for NFA items since we have to babysit it and have it take up space for upwards of a year.

I bought a trust through silencer shop. I've heard somewhere that I could do my fingerprints on the kiosk and that they could mail you cards with your fingerprints already on them. Is that a thing or have I gotten some misinformation? I see on their website that they'll send blank cards with envelopes, but don't see anything about getting cards with prints already on them. Can anyone verify fact or fiction please? Edit: I need them for some form 1's.

Did the kiosk in April 2019. Paid gun store the FFL transfer fee because I bought silencer from a different gun store. I don't remember paying anyone the $200 for the tax stamp. Almost 11 months now and I have yet to hear anything.

I do not understand why they, (the government) make such a big deal over the ownership of "silencers". They don't work well at all! 140 to 150 db IS ANYTHING BUT SILENT!!! If it would bring the sound down to 70db then I could see a need possibly of restricting sales. Other country's REQUIRE the use of suppressors. At 140 decibels, immediate nerve damage can occur
