I play Supreme Commander 2 and annihilate everything with artillery.
This was supposed to be a short 1v3 game, but then I remembered artillery...

The only variable that was left out of this scenario was the fact that there was no Air Force at all, which in reality, there would be one, taking down your shields, maybe even your artillery. But who am I to say? I'm just a dumb kid on the Internet

In this case they dropped all the mechanics and I mean all mechanics that made the first one great. Of course if you didn't like these mechanics then the second one is the game for you but other games like starcraft or cnc are generally better in that regard.

Radar kinda irks me a bit. Good ole line of sight can see anything from such huge vantage point... is the video technology for measuring the distance and identifying targets obsolete thousands of years in the future?

Oh yeah I remember what RADAR stands for: radio detection and ranging. So how about we create this new term: VIDAR! Visual detection and ranging. Much more effective and incredibly detailed than radar imo. Or even more next gen ESDAR (Electromagnetic spectrum detection and ranging) more advanced than visual spectrum. Now that's extremely plausible in this world of Supreme Commander.

No, they are not. people can go under and attack the building, they take time to reset, they have low shield health, and they are just shields, as things can go through them, force fields can be gone through by units.

TheeLogicGamer Shields are good if you place the buildings as close to the perimeter of the shield as possible, then units will have a much harder time getting under the shields to your defenses.

Lol commander got stuck. Hate it when that happens. Artillery is fun in this game but only because it goes boom boom boom boom boom boom... It's OP and everybody knows it, especially if you advanced free build your long range arty setup, which takes something that is fun and was fun the first few times and gets old really quick... Try it in multiplayer and you'll lose more respect than anything...which is funny since leaderboard losers are so common in the gaming world today...things that should assign disrespect and bad rep are actually getting people noticed... Yet it doesn't matter the lines never changed, people just stopped caring who crossed them... In a desensitized world only the few who stay worthy would actually get what I mean. Still you did this against easy AI's so you were clearly just trying to have fun and I'll be honest that's exactly what I do when I play this game, try to have fun, if you can't get that in multiplayer then do it against the AI, I really enjoyed this video and your build style is interesting, I like symmetrical builds myself. One time a buddy and I were playing SC 2 on Xbox 360 and he happened to zoom out over my base...and I didn't even noticed it until he said something but I accidentally built my base to look EXACTLY like a Fatboy! Lol Its like a hobby of mine now to build my base like I'm making pixel art

Well Done, but you certainly took your time, If you get stuck on anything check mine AM You or RedArrows guide on Steam, Mine is for the DLC, and Red has made hers for non DLC, we are professional players. I my self have been inactive recently, well for a while now and will start soon. AM is the strongest clan in SC2, we have the best players, all players can easily 1v1 AI Cheating in assassination with out exclusions.
