The mod support minimod is in the main folder, but be sure you unzip the downloaded file with winzip or winrar. After unzipping the file names will end with .SC2 If you dont unzip the the files (.rar), it will not show up when browsing to load them into the mod manager.

I've done all the steps good, but the Game hash isn't the same as the one in the video, I've done it again multiple times, and it just doesn't work. There hasen't been any update on SC2, So I do not understand why it doesn't work. Glad you got it working :) Sorry about the length, I try to be thorough in my steps because there once was a time I couldn't mod to save my life. UPDATE; BRUTE FORCE FOR THE WIN? downloaded the things. 7zip unzip the files. AGAIN use 7zip to unzip the .sc2s. AGAIN use 7zip to unzip the mod.zips that come out of those. I then dragged everything into supreme commander 2 gamedata folder, overwrote some things and probably have a bunch of useless bits I don't or even shouldn't have in there. Tried to start one game took a little longer to load but it launched. gotta work early tommorow no time to test further yet.

Hey I was wondering if you could help a newbie out? So i have the same hash at least i'm pretty sure. and have followed your instructions to the letter as far as I can tell. I go into the settings tab of the mod manager and it tells me I am missing game.pref file. Any idea how to fix this? When I run the game I get an error saying unable to launch possible that steam is not running. (Steam is running) Despite the above error it lets me into the game and I can see slight changes to the game but when I go into a skirmish it has the wall building but nothing else added.

Hi there, they have changed the wording to uninstall. You only really need to do this if you have another mod installed for supcom2.

So I couldn't download the latest version of the Mod Manager as my computer kept saying it had a virus and would delete the Mod Manager so I did a different one that looked the same as the one you use I got the mini Mod and the warp pillar mod up but not the revamped on I keep getting a error on it I have tried to reinstall the mod and see how it would work to which it still comes up with the error. Could it be because of the Mod Manager I am using? I am using the 11 24 15 version. If you could give me a hand that would be great

I am not sure if you resolved the problem, but to answer your question, you do need the latest version of the mod manager, but before you download, disable your virus protection, and after you have it un-zipped (extracted) onto your pc then re-enable your virus protection, hope this helps :)

if somebody who doesn't have your mod, the exact same version, joins your game it will crash everyone in the game. Ran into this stuff with Empire at war people in vanilla join a modded game, crash, people with mods for say clone wars or thrawn's revenge join a vanilla game, crash. If the game is calling on files that do not exist, have different values or are simply outdated, they will crash and you will crash.

if you mean in multiplayer, this can be attributed to lag. if you mean single player, your PC specs might be the limiting factor in performance. I have't had such problems myself but I have a newish PC.

Also I downloaded everything and can launch the game but when I go to create a skirmish the game crashes on me. the files for the mini mod support didnt come in a file the mod manager could detect and for certain mods

My only suggestion would be to try an re-download all the files with any anti-virus software you may have temporarily disabled. Other than that I am not sure what could be cause this issue. I just re downloaded the files to make sure they are all there and they are :/

I discussed with the mod devs, they said that some people depending on where they are in the world will have a different hash, so just check with others hash if your going to play multiplayer, otherwise you're all good :D

Followed the tutorial even though my hash is different. I launch the game from the mod manager but I still get version 1.260 instead of revamp xxxxxxxx. I didn't play since my last format c: so the install is clean. Tried twice but same result :/

The hash would be different given that you posted this a week ago. This video uses beta 1.0, and beta 1.1 has been out for a while. I'm having a similar issue. When I run it there is almost a 50:50 chance that it will load the Rev mod. When it does load the mod, I can set up a skirmish, load a game, but then it crashes when it would launch. When it doesn't load the rev mod, it runs fine... just no mods. I've been able to use the 2013 mod (three year anniversary mod) without fail with the same mod manager. However the hash I'm getting when using the beta 1.0 also isn't giving this hash. I"m on Windows 10 now, and I figure everyone else is. This tutorial is 3 years old and the mod is of a similar age. Maybe the creator will have some time soon to fix it up.
