At 38:30 I feel that team 2 missed a chance to go directly for the throat. All ground AA emplacements gone, no shield coverage, comm is in range, 20 tier 3 gunships. Yeah there was some flak in the form of T2 AA tanks but not enough to stop the com kill happening.

There should be ethical considerations in sponsors. Don't accept sponsors that mistreat people. If they're a mobile game company that makes most of their money by exploiting mentally-ill "whales" who spend $500/month buying "power gems" and "speed boosters" then don't take their ad money. Otherwise, go for it.

***SPOILER*** Was expecting the chicken to only harass at the left, while the engineers from those factories hoovered up all that mass after the base there went down in the push. Should have been enough for a second T4, and in the meantime he could have spammed out loads of more mobile flak to accompany the then final push. But maybe I am misreading the game state here and it was totally over anyways.

love the casts Gyle, always bringing back the good old Supreme Commander days, i dont think a little sponsor promotion that helps you out do more is going to lesson the nostalgia of such a great game (not to downplay FAF). Plus, some sponsors have actually only been bought by myself due to sponsorships from my favourite content creators. you do what you need to keep doing what you love.

From a pure game design space experimental AA is the only thing missing. And as you often point out, seaborne anti-nuke. There should be a nuclear equipped land unit also, like a spider with a nuke instead of a laser but chickens are probably close enough.

Question. Why do high rated players avoid T3 static AA even when they're being overrun by air? Compared to T1 and T2 their coverage and damage application are way better, the dps/mass is the median and they do have some splash. And compared to AA Units the damage/buildtime is way better.

This game is a constant reminder of why real weapons are as they are and how overpowered they can be. Self guided rocket artillery is absolutely dirt simple, it would be servos, a camera, and a chip. Cruise missiles have range in the thousands of km, and were it not for fear of triggering nuclear warning systems we could load ICBMs with conventional explosives and the range becomes effectively infinite. There are truths in physics that make some of this stuff extremely lopsided. Armor is always harder than piercing it because defense has to cover more area. That's why you can always make a shoulder fire munition that can kill a tank. Also hitting something moving is always harder than hitting something stationary, that means that shooting down missiles is always harder than just shooting missiles. I find myself looking for a whole different type of game where I could see an evolutonary arms race.
