Loopholes were not intended in the founding fathers words. That was considered DisHonorable. We must have a "Honorable" determination of the presidents Actions. He by no reasonable determination did this with Honor, why cant these loophole lawyers be stopped with this angle.

Yes, seems a great deal of word dissecting to get to common sense.

A personal gain, a private gain, are not presidential duties. Presidents are to honor our Constitution and make decisions with legal knowledge by those many in office within our government who have the authority to do so. Using outside attorney's to make governmental decisions is both personal gain and motive. It seems like a great deal to debate for what feels like common sense. Although, I suppose things must be written down precisely because some do not have sense.

@@betanusolosix that’s not at all what the case is about. However, Trump’s legal argument is that he indeed is allowed to stage a coup and murder whoever he wants.

7:22 What's that latin phrase the justice is saying here?
@aeriose7 ай бұрын
"Malum in se" it refers to actions that are inherently immoral, regardless of whether they are prohibited by law (e.g. murder). "Malum prohibitum" is the other end of this coin which refers to actions that are only seen as wrong because they are illegal (e.g. jaywalking)

John Oliver offered Justice Thomas $1 million dollars and a $500k RV to retire…. As far as Justices being bought for $1 million dollars, you’d have to bribe them with waaaaaaaaaaaaay more than that….These guys’ net worths probably jump substantially just like congress people and senators….Why take an illegal bribe when you can get filthy rich with insiders in the stock market “legally”….
