I have been fishing off and on for 43 years and learned something new today, when it's windy we have always fished with the water flowing away from us, didn't know it's best to do when it's blowing the water towards you! Thanks for the knowledge, Trey! My favorite way of fishing is just plain fishing. it doesn't matter where I'm at or what I'm using, or if I even catch anything fishing, it is how I decompression and relax. So far, my biggest was about a 15-pound catfish on limburger cheese. And my $20 walmart Shakespeare Tiger closed face rod and reel combo caught it a few years ago about 2017 or 2018,l

Hard to beat a bobber bite. Just going old school. Love the salt life and a 1/4 oz jig head with a 4 inch pearl white, swirl tail mullet catches speckled trout, flounder, and red fish. It’s not bad for bass and crappie. Great video. 🤠👍🇨🇱

I caught my biggest fish the dumbest way. I was dicking around on the pontoon, using the drag of the water to straighten up the line on some of my crappie reels, getting ready for my annual cabin trip in northern Minnesota. So I cast out a beetlespin rig, let the line go out as far as it needed, and started reeling it back. All of a sudden the line goes tight and rips from my fingers, almost taking my whole rig with it. Fought what I thought was a scrappy smallmouth, until I spotted the 45'' muskie trying to shake off that hook. My dude, I fought that sucker for 10 minutes on 8 pound test, finally convinced it to get into my net. Reel maintenance leads to big fish, I swear it up and down. If you get a chance to hit Big Sandy Lake in Minnesota, you'll find some TANKS.
