Ive done a lot of research into launching wheels and in my opinion these are the best ive come across.
towards the end you will see what its like on the boat - but - THEY ARE AWESOME

Thank you very much for this video. I really appreciated seeing how they function & I'll be ordering a pair of these because of what you showed. I researched a lot too. Beachmaster from NZ are very cool too, except for the fact that one needs to drill the holes quite low on the transom to install them. I suspect thru the rubber on the bottom side. These however mount with only two bolts and they are way higher up. Thanks again. I love the fact that you appreciate the excellence of this products.

Getting excited about some launching wheels could be considered "odd & strange" but I know where your coming from and boy on your own moving a dead weight inflatable is painful. I have researched the products about and your video confirmed my decision (just ordered) Thanks for posting this.... Very helpful

It looks a very neat system the only fly in the ointment is their small diameter big wheels will work much better if its rocky or soft but won't be as discreet .

During installation did you put sealant on top of the metal and plastic seal or just screwed them on directly?

I sealed everything. Sea lent in the bolt hole then on the face. Rubber gasket then metal plate. It does leak at all. Use good quality sealant. Good luck

I got these wheels after watching your video. I took them apart so I could spray the internal spring with a corrosion repellent but noticed it may be a copper spring. Are you using your boat in saltwater? Any rust forming on the spring? I would hate for the spring to corrode and disintegrate. Only concern I have for these but love them otherwise!

yes it works well. There is a big trend moving to these types of boats for fishing.

Hi mark, did you buy in the end. I have a Quicksilver airdeck 320 which I think is the same boat as the talamax. But the Hd200 wheels interfere with the floor, wondered if you had the same issue ?

Seems like a great product. One question though, are the wheels detachable? I feel like they might get in the way when deflating and folding up the boat for storage.

Robert Koster no they’re not detachable and they don’t get in the way. You just fold as normal because they sit flat against the transom.

i have honwave t32 with tohatsu 9.8 with same wheels , but i get splash towards engine , i did think it was coming from wheels but mine ar bolted higher than yours ,so maybe its hight of outboard

No they don't. They have rounded closed nuts over the ends of the bolts.

I tried some a bit like the Honda ones. They were bent to accommodate the ‘trim tabs’. I found they got in the way when up. Theses are hidden until you need them.

Yes yes yes. The transom on the boat is wooden so you must. Water getting in is not what you want. Sikaflex all the way my friend and make sure it’s completely sealed then wipe away the excess.

I use 291i marine adhesive sealant for everything. Works a treat. Enjoy.

The stay on the boat for folding and don't hamper the folding in any way. i put an old bit of carpet over the wheels as i'm folding just to make sure but seems to be a really good system.

Will these work on a v bottom rib? Will the wheels clear the motor and transom when deployed?

They should work. Most hulls are very shallow V's or flat at the back (stern) to allow for a planing surface. My wheels clear my engine (6hp tohatsu) easily. I couldn't tell you about a 20hp though.

So your looking at approx 90kg for the run and between 70kg-80kg for the outboard? Technically these should be fine but it may be pushing it. Being a proper rib rather than a sib you may have a deeper V. I truly couldn’t say. If you try them let us know how you get on. Good luck
