Another fantastic video that captures the story and love of Malex. The more videos that are released the more I want this show back how is it that is has been two weeks since this little alien show was taken away from us. Will never understand it's cancellation, nor why each season isn't released internationally at the same time like some other CW shows, that would help Roswell New Mexico dominate streaming services charts which I want so bad, so a network can see how much this is loved and how much it still has to offer.

Such a completely unique and beautiful video!! All the feels. What a wonderful cover too for the feel of this show and I just. This is SO beyond perfect. I am in awe of the emotion and atmosphere and unique undervidded moments and lyric matches. There's so much I'd say if I had more time to sit with a video like this. - edited a few days later to say - okay my detailed comment that this video deserves is now below in this thread!

​@@Supsi85 I love how the first scene isn't a Malex scene but you set up with WHOLE video with it and because it's not a Malex scene it's so fresh and undervidded and perfect, and it just worked so well. You found such unique Christmas light choices. That "For a long time it was my safest space" line, so poignant and interesting match to do instead of when they actually lived together as adults, for "this is our place". "Mysterious way about you, dear" lol I mean it worked SO well but it's SO on the nose too. "Can I go where you go?" with Michael trying to stop Alex from leaving the bar, what a unique and undervidded way to vid that scene, so like... "cute" the way you captured that moment. "my, my, my, my" with all the super passionate kissing parallels was such a good creative choice that worked so well. Alex saying "our living room"! I loved that way you matched the living room lyric SO much, that moment of how nice it is that Alex actually said it would've been so easy to overlook. The second "Can I go where you go" with just the "Leave me behind" voiceover and then Michael's face saying it ALL about how he doesn't ever want to leave him behind... again just... the sweetest thing ever to watch. And then the wedding part, the bridge or whatever where the lyrics basically are all about that, you found the perfect way to match every part of it, even focusing in on his hands... Lol "to be overdramatic and true"!! I love it, that part is so perfect for the lyric. Silly but pretty great moment for "save all your dirtiest jokes for me", it's interesting that they didn't actually have many moments to exemplify that line really... I would've expected with how sarcastically and casually Michael would bring up "sex was epic" and "tortured lust" that he might actually have... idk dirty jokes in canon when he is happily with Alex, but this show never went there of course. "I'm gonna go get my boyfriend" still feels so undervidded compared to a lot of Michael's other lines near the end of s4. I think it worked well where you placed it, right in the middle of a bunch of lyrics about how Alex is so... his. And the way this cover sings that whole part at 2:56 through 3:00 is so special and you found such a special way that felt like it fit the overlapping singing with some overlapping voiceover and then a different scene, I loved how even when the lyric can't be matched literally you figured out EXACTLY what the overall sentiment of it really was and found the perfect scene for it. The final "Can we always be this close?" with them holding each other so extremely close while slow dancing is also perfect. ;) Just all around, so SWEET and I love everything about this.

@@VioletEmerald "Living room" and "Christmas lights" were the most difficult things to match I think, so thank you for pointing those out. I kept coming back to them for days lol. This song overall was surprisingly difficult because I felt like every lyric required jumping back and forth and in the middle of the show's timeline. But it is interesting how in season 1 Maria talks about the Wild Pony lights guiding her mom back home and then in S4 Alex uses the lights at the bar to guide them to him. I can't tell if that was intentional or not. Add to that that Maria also had Michael fix the said lights in S1. Yeah I too think Michael would have lots of dirty jokes but they were never calm and happy long enough for that to happen lol. Thank you so much for this epic comment too!

Hoooooow did you get rid of the background music/isolate just the dialog for some of those scenes that I KNOW had songs/music in the background for??? I love it and this!

I convert the episodes in a way that separates the audio tracks and then I can just remove the extra tracks with background audio and sound effects. It doesn’t work perfectly in every scene, like in the “I’m home” scene on the couch you can still hear the song but it isn’t as loud:) Thank you so much!

@@Supsi85 Also, I believe it depends on which version of the episode you originally downloaded and how the audio already is or not. It's called a 6 channel audio version of the episode. I think you can only convert in a way that retains the separated tracks in a way that actually works if the first place you got it from already had them separated. Suvi, feel free to correct me tho if I'm wrong. That's how I always thought it worked tho.
