I'm not sure what this is. I was randomly thinking about DH lately, and then got to thinking if I still relate to Bree as much with how much has happened since I started the show in 2005. I'm turning 36 this year so starting DH is getting to be...almost half a lifetime ago. Back the I was starting college. Now I'm working and have a husband and a teenage stepkid. And yeah, I still relate very strongly to my repressed queen. Although I think I have grown out of a lot of my bad habits, but this show still means a lot to me. I heard this song this week and thought I'd do something with it.
The audio quality isn't the greatest since these are old files and I've made some poor choices, like converting the entire season 4 in Russian audio without checking what I was doing. What I need to do is re-download all of them, re-convert all of them, actually buy a huge external drive first....yeah that will be a project at some point, hopefully.

I really love everything about this. What a powerful anthem for Bree's character arc and development over the seasons and a lot of her struggles and flaws and stuff, I don't remember that much about this show but you reminded me of plenty to appreciate what this video was. ;) All the lyric matches so carefully done, all the voiceovers to help with understanding how it's matching lyrics. It's such an emotional vid. I started watching DH around when I was 15 or 16 years old I think, after already knowing my mom was into the show, and my entire family ended up watching it - my dad and brother and me at my dad's place. I remember listening to the creator's DVD episode commentaries for all of season 1 and it profoundly idk, shaping how I began to appreciate TV as a whole or something, knowing the behind the scenes things about the shows and stuff really stuck with me.

Thank you so much! Also cool to hear about your history with it. I think I listened to the commentary too, something I stopped doing when I stopped buying DVDs. There was so much fun stuff I found out while listening to them:D
