SUR-RON WIRING HARNESS EXPLAINED | SURRON DIY BUILD FROM SCRATCH

Describing all wiring harness connections for the Surron light bee. This will be part of my upcoming full build video - building a 25kW, 80v Surron from scratch. Note I am using the EBMX X-9000 controller, so some connections are different than from stock.

Hey man THANK YOU for this video. I am going in blind trying to repair someone's SurRon X that had no throttle response. Found a couple sheared wires on a mystery connector by the motor and hey guess what: Hall Effect Sensor connector. Much appreciated!

Hey coolwatts! I was hoping you could help me. So I’m using all surron wiring for a non surron build. And had a question. The “battery in” connector the small grey one. Is that connector the equivalent of positive and ground ring terminals to give the harness power?

Hi, yes, that is battery voltage in. 60v, 72v, 80v, etc.

Hello, maybe you could help me. I want to install a new taillight, it has 5 cables, 2 is for signals, 1 positive, 1 negative and 1 for the brake light. the signals I don't care about, the positive and negative is obvious, where do I need to add or to weld the brake light for it work when I'm pushing the brake levers?

I didn't see it on the new harness I got, purchased from Ali 12-2023.

The sleeve that covers all the cables looks tighter and made of different material then the harness that comes on a brand new bike, I have ordered the same harness as shown in this video, but I am concerned it will restrict my bikes top speed again

@@shawsie9462 if so, you just cut the wire again or connect a clamp with wires cut.
