Surah Maryam (Mary)
Maryam (Arabic: مريم‎) is the 19th chapter (Surah) of the Quran consisting of 98 verses. The subject matter of this Surah is the true message and teachings of the Prophets of Allah. Several Prophets are mentioned here: Zakariyya, Yahya, Isa and his mother Maryam, Ibrahim, Musa, Ismail and Idris -may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon all of them. Allah blessed these Prophets. They taught Tawhid and called their people to the worship of Allah alone. Great miracles and signs were also shown in the lives of these Prophets and Messengers.

Bubenheim & Elyas KafhayaAAaynsad Transliteration 2 ذِكۡرُ رَحۡمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَبۡدَهُۥ زَكَرِيَّآ ٢ (Diese Verse sind) zum Gedenken an die Barmherzigkeit deines Herrn zu Seinem Diener Zakariyya. Bubenheim & Elyas Thikru rahmati rabbika AAabdahu zakariyya Transliteration 3 إِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ نِدَآءً خَفِيّٗا ٣ Als er zu seinem Herrn im Verborgenen rief Bubenheim & Elyas Ith nada rabbahu nidaan khafiyya Transliteration 4 قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَهَنَ ٱلۡعَظۡمُ مِنِّي وَٱشۡتَعَلَ ٱلرَّأۡسُ شَيۡبٗا وَلَمۡ أَكُنۢ بِدُعَآئِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيّٗا ٤ (und) sagte: "Mein Herr, schwach sind mir die Knochen geworden, und in Altersgrauheit entfacht ist der Kopf. Und ich war im Bittgebet zu Dir, mein Herr, (noch) nie unglücklich. Bubenheim & Elyas Qala rabbi innee wahana alAAathmu minnee washtaAAala arrasu shayban walam akun biduAAaika rabbi shaqiyya Transliteration 5 وَإِنِّي خِفۡتُ ٱلۡمَوَٰلِيَ مِن وَرَآءِي وَكَانَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتِي عَاقِرٗا فَهَبۡ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيّٗا ٥ Gewiß, ich fürchte die Verwandten nach mir, und meine Frau ist unfruchtbar. So schenke mir von Dir aus einen nahen Verwandten, Bubenheim & Elyas Wainnee khiftu almawaliya min waraee wakanati imraatee AAaqiran fahab lee min ladunka waliyya Transliteration 6 يَرِثُنِي وَيَرِثُ مِنۡ ءَالِ يَعۡقُوبَۖ وَٱجۡعَلۡهُ رَبِّ رَضِيّٗا ٦ der mich beerbt und von der Sippe Ya'qubs erbt, und mach ihn, mein Herr, (Dir) wohlgefällig." Bubenheim & Elyas Yarithunee wayarithu min ali yaAAqooba wajAAalhu rabbi radiyya Transliteration 7 يَٰزَكَرِيَّآ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ ٱسۡمُهُۥ يَحۡيَىٰ لَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ مِن قَبۡلُ سَمِيّٗا ٧ "O Zakariyya, Wir verkünden dir einen Jungen, dessen Name Yahya ist, wie Wir zuvor noch niemandem Kennzeichen gleich den seinen gegeben haben." Bubenheim & Elyas Ya-zakariyya inna nubashshiruka bighulamin ismuhu yahya lam najAAal lahu min qablu samiyya Transliteration 8 قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَٰمٞ وَكَانَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتِي عَاقِرٗا وَقَدۡ بَلَغۡتُ مِنَ ٱلۡكِبَرِ عِتِيّٗا ٨ Er sagte: "Mein Herr, wie soll ich einen Jungen haben, wo meine Frau unfruchtbar ist und ich vom hohen Alter bereits einen Dürrezustand erreicht habe?" Bubenheim & Elyas Qala rabbi anna yakoonu lee ghulamun wakanati imraatee AAaqiran waqad balaghtu mina alkibari AAitiyya Transliteration 9 قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٞ وَقَدۡ خَلَقۡتُكَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَلَمۡ تَكُ شَيۡـٔٗا ٩ Er sagte: "So wird es sein. Dein Herr sagt: ,Das ist Mir ein leichtes; und auch dich habe Ich ja zuvor erschaffen, als du noch nichts warst'." Bubenheim & Elyas Qala kathalika qala rabbuka huwa AAalayya hayyinun waqad khalaqtuka min qablu walam taku shaya
