As I was listening to Sheikh Yasser Dossary recite, I noticed he doesn't stretch the letter that he is supposed to. I noticed this in ayah 4 and 6. Does this need to be corrected or is his recitation permissible.

Needs to be corrected as it doesn't conform with the rules of tajwid.

There is a difference when the letter needs to be 'stretched' when it appears in the middle of the word (mandatory in tajweed) vs. at the end. Not necessary to 'stretch' when it is at the end of a word.
