In Islam creation is divided into three. The Angels which are made of light and they serve God and have no free will. Then there are humans that are made of earth and have free will and will be judged for their time on earth. And lastly there are jinn which in Arabic is related to the word for unseen. They are what could be called in English spirits or ghosts, but they are a separate creation not dead humans, they inhabit the unseen realm here on earth with us, they were created before humans and are made of smokeless fire. They too have free will and will be judged. So the Quran also refers to the jinn calling them to Islam for their salvation. In Islam satan/Lucifer/Ibliis is a jinn not a fallen angel that was elevated to high level because he worshipped God but fell from grace because of pride and arrogance when Adam was created, he wants us to also be fallen and be punished in hell alongside him. I hope that makes sense.

Jinn is also the creation of Allah it also has free will to obey Allah or not. They are also a good and evil ,the worst among them called as satan. Allah revealed the Qur'an to man and jinkind. So allah asked the questions to man and jinn. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: يٰمَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنْكُمْ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايٰتِى وَيُنْذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هٰذَا  ۚ قَالُوا شَهِدْنَا عَلٰىٓ أَنْفُسِنَا  ۖ وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيٰوةُ الدُّنْيَا وَشَهِدُوا عَلٰىٓ أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا كٰفِرِينَ "O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours? They will say, We bear witness against ourselves; and the worldly life had deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers." (QS. Al-An'aam 6: Verse 130)

الجن كأئن مكلف بالدين كالإنسان ... الجن خلق قبل الإنسان بفترة لانعلم بالضبط كم هي. والشيطان (ابليس) من الجن . والجن كالإنسان هناك مسلمون و مشركون و كفار ايضا . خلق الانسان من طين وخلق الجن من نار الجن يرى الانسان ولكن الانسان لا يراه لحكمة يعلمها الله وحده . الجن المشركون كائنات قد تؤذي الإنسان ولكنها ضعيفة جدا امام القرآن .. حيث انهم لا يستطيعون ايذاء من تحصن بالمعوذتين (آخر سورتين من القرآن).. نحن نصدق ان الجن تسكن في المغارات والكهوف و البيوت المهجورة .. ولا يحق للمسلم ايذائها لذا عليه ان يذكر اسم الله قبل كل فعل يقوم به في تلك الأماكن حتى تبتعد ولا تتأذى.. The jinn as an object charged with religion as a human being ... The jinn was created long before a menkind did not know exactly how it is. And Satan (the Devil) is from the jinn. And jinn like a human there are Muslims and polytheists and unbelievers as well. Man created from clay And the jinn created from fire The jinn sees a humankind, but a humankind does not see thim for wisdom that only God knows. The polytheistic jinn are beings that may harm a people but they are very weak in front of the Qur’an .. since they cannot harm those who are entrenched in (the last two chapters of the Qur’an) .. We believe that the jinn lives in caves, Mountains, and abandoned homes. A Muslim does not have the right to harm thim, so he must mention the name of God before every action he takes in these places in order to stay away and not be harmed ..

Jinns are so powerfull, they are diffrent from man.among them there are good and bad. They are not like angels, but many of them have wings.god created them from the part of the fire which is smokless,and hide them from humen eye. They live among us but we cannot see them.
